Note: For multi language installation manual, please install Adobe Acrobat Reader from autorun after

inserting the CD into the CD ROM. Click “Browse” and open Installation Manual file where multi

language installation manuals are in.

Chapter 1 : DVB-T 100 PCI Hardware Installation

1.1 Package Contents

Unpack your DVB-T 100 package and make sure that all items are included. The following items should be

included in your package:

 DVB-T 100 PCI card

 Remote control & remote sensor

 DVB-T Antenna

 DVB-T PLUS user manual

 Installation manual

 Installation CD

1.2 System Requirements

 PC with Pentium-IV 1.6GHz or above

 256MB RAM of system memory or above

 PCI 2.2 compliant slot

 Graphics card (Must support DirectX 9.0)

 Sound card (AC97 compatible sound card)

 1GB free HD space

 CD-ROM drive (For software installation)

 Microsoft Windows ® 2000/XP

 UHF/VHF antenna and available DVB-T signal in your region

1.3 Hardware Installation

Please follow the steps shown on the right for installation of your TV Card and follow the pictorial guide

below for peripheral connections.

1. Turn off all your computer power and any

peripherals.

2. Select an available PCI slot and remove the

slot cover, screw, etc.

3. Push the TV card firmly into the slot until

it snaps in place and secure the card by

replacing the screw you remove from step

4. Place the PC lid cover back then power on.

Chapter 2 : DVB-T 100 Utilities And Drivers Setup

The DVB-T 100 package comes with complete Windows software utilities. These utilities can be found on

the installation CD included in the package. Before installation, we recommend that you exit all background

programs. These include applications such as anti-virus software and system monitoring applications.

1. Once you finish the hardware installation, restart your

system. “Windows Found New Hardware Wizard” will

pop up. Please click “Cancel” and run the utilities setup

included in the CD.

2. Choose “DVB-T 100 PCI” from the autorun page like

the one on the left.

3. Click “Install Driver” to install drivers and utilities.

4. The DVB-T 100 setup utilities will guide you to install

all TV card drivers and utilities on your PC. Click

“Next” to continue.

5. The utilities will help you install the TV card drivers

automatically. Please click “Next” to install the drivers.

6. Please click “Start” to start installing the DVB-T

100 BDA Driver.

7. Choose “Yes, I want to restart my computer now” and

click “Finish” to restart your computer and activate the

driver.

Note:

You can restart your computer after installing DVB-T PLUS

software application

Chapter 3 : DVB-T PLUS Software Installation

After the drivers are installed, the next step you need to do is to install “DVB-T PLUS”. Please follow the

steps below to install it.

1. Choose DVB-T 100 PCI from the autorun page like the

one on the left.

2. Select “DVB-T PLUS” to start installing the software.

3. The InstallShield Wizard will guide through installation of

DVB-T PLUS application. Click “Next” to continue.

4. Please choose the destination folder where you want to

install the files. You can click “Browse” to change the

destination folder.

5. Setup will add program icons to the Program Folder’s list.

You may type a new folder name, or select one from the

existing folders list. Click “Next” to start installing. Please

wait while installation in process.

6. When the message as the one on the left pops up, click

“Finish” to end the installation.

Chapter 4 : DVB-T PLUS Software Functions

When using DVB-T PLUS, There are four different functions to choose from. Picture below is an example

of how the interface looks like and a short description of each function.

• DTVR : DTVR turns your PC into a

full-featured video recorder.

• MPEG Encoder : MPEG Encoder converts

AVI files into MPEG format.

• Video Editor : Video Editor makes editing

MPEG video files easy.

• Burn DVD : Burn DVD creates VCD,

SVCD and DVD that can be played on a PC or

DVD player.

1. How to check to see if DVB-T 100 Utilities have been installed?

Ans : To check the DVB-T 100 Utilities, follow the pictorial guide below and choose “Remote Control” to

change system settings.

2. How to check if the drivers have been installed successfully or not?

Ans: Right click on “My Computer” on the desktop and choose “Properties”. Once in “Properties”

window, click on “Device Manager” in Hardware panel. Click on the plus icon of “Sound, video and

game controllers” to open the device list.
