**NOTE: Refer Also to the instructions included with the aftermarket radio.
*CAUTION: Metra recommends disconnecting the negative
battery terminal before beginning any installation. All
accessories, switches, and especially air bag indicator
lights must be plugged in before reconnecting the
battery or cycling the ignition.

95-8226B DASH DISASSEMBLY
Disconnect the negative battery
terminal to prevent an accidental
short circuit.
Unsnap and remove the shifter trim.
(Fig. A)
Unsnap and remove the console
panel (extends from the pocket up the
passenger side to the upper vents).
(Fig. B)
Unsnap the ignition button trim panel
(not necessary to remove). (Fig. C)
Unsnap and remove the radio/ climate
trim panel. (Fig. C)
Remove four ten mm bolts to remove
the radio.

Attach the Double DIN brackets to
the Double DIN housing. (Fig. A)
Slide the Double DIN head unit or
stacked ISO head units into the
bracket/radio housing assembly
and secure the Double DIN head
unit or stacked ISO head units to
the assembly using the screws
supplied with the radio. (Fig. B)
Snap the Trim plate into the Radio
Housing.
Locate the factory wiring harness
and antenna plug in the dash.
Metra recommends using the
proper mating adapters from Metra
and/or AXXESS.
Mount the Radio Housing/ radio
into the dash, snap the Radio
Housing Trim Panel over that, and
reassemble the dash.
