  • Hello, I'm your chat assistant. I have analyzed the ventilation instructions for Dometic refrigerators, encompassing models like RH430LD, RH436D, and others. This document explains vital ventilation requirements to ensure optimal refrigerator performance. Feel free to ask me any questions related to the installation.

Ventilation
For the refrigeration process to work
properly, the heat that is generated from
the distillation process and the heat that
is extracted from the interior of the
refrigerator must be dissipated through
convection air ciculation across the
cooling unit coils and condenser on the
rear of the unit.
If the refrigerator will be built into a
cabinet or under a counter, there must be ad-
equate ventilation or the absorption unit on the
back of the refrigerator. The open section available
for incoming and outgoing air must be a minimum
of 30 square inches.
Note: Installation should conform with any appli-
cable building and electrical codes.
Note: The refrigerator must be
removable for future servicing.
The ventilation duct must measure at least 4-1/8”
(105mm) x the width of the refrigerator. Ventilation
grills, if used, must have opening of at least 30
square inches.
