Operating Instructions
Has the right operating mode been selected?
Press the button to switch be-
tween the different operating
modes. The selected operating
mode is indicated by a bar below
the respective symbol.
Automatic mode
Automatic mode controls the room temperature ac-
cording to the time program.
Continuous operation or
Continuous operation maintains the room temperature
at the selected operating level.
Heating to the Comfort setpoint
Heating to the Reduced setpoint
Protection
In Protection mode, the heating system is off, but
protected against frost (frost protection temperature).
Cooling mode
Cooling mode controls the room tempera-
ture in accordance with the selected
operating mode. (Optional)
DHW mode
DHW is heated according to the
selected mode.
Are you too warm or too cold?
Settings:
1. Turn the setting knob to increase or
decrease the Comfort setpoint .
Confirm the setting with the
operating mode button.
2. For the reduced setpoint , press
OK, select operating page “Heating circuit“ and ad-
just the “Reduced setpoint”.
Tip: Each time you make a readjustment, wait at least 2
hours, allowing the room temperature to adapt.
Will you leave the rooms for some time?
If you do not use the rooms for a longer
period of time, you can press the
occupancy button to reduce the room
temperature, thus saving heating energy.
When the rooms are occupied again, press again the
occupancy button to resume heating operation.

The occupancy button is only active in automatic
mode
The current selection is active until the next swit-
ching action according to the heating program oc-
curs
Do you want to display information?
1. The Info button can be used to retrieve
information.
2. In exceptional cases, the display shows
one of the following symbols:
Error message
If this symbol appears, a plant fault has occurred. In
that case, press the Info button to obtain more informa-
tion.
Maintenance
If this symbol appears, a maintenance message is
delivered, or the plant has changed to some special
mode. In that case, press the Info button to obtain
more information.

Do you want to make settings?
Additional settings that are not directly accessible via
the user interface are made on the setting level. The
basic setting procedure is shown here. By pressing the
ESC button, you go back one step at a time.

Note: Depending on the type of controller used, the table
may partly deviate from the operating lines displayed.
Is the DHW too hot or too cold?
Caution! If the DHW is too hot, there is a risk of scalding!
Setting:
Select operating page “DHW“ and set the “Nominal
setpoint“ to the required level.
Do you want to readjust the time or the date?
Note: Summer- and wintertime changeover is automatic!
Setting:
To ensure that your heating system operates properly,
the time of day must be correctly set. Select operating
page “Time of day and date“ and then the relevant
operating line.
Do you intend to go on holiday?
You can enter a holiday period. At the beginning of the
holiday period, the unit will switch to the selected
operating level and resume the selected operating
mode at the end of the holiday period.
The holiday function is only active in automatic
mode
Setting:
Select operating page “Holidays“ and set “Start“, “End“
and the “Operating level“ to be used during the holiday
period.
Do you want the text display in another language?
Setting:
Select operating page “Operator unit“ and then “Lan-
guage“ for the display.
Do you know the following energy savings tips?
During the day, do not allow the room temperature
to rise above 21 °C
Air rooms only briefly with the windows fully open
In unoccupied rooms, set the thermostatic radiator
valves to the frost protection position
Make certain that there are no curtains, furniture,
etc., in front of the radiators
