Sytech SYX1230BTN is a Bluetooth Stereo Headset that allows you to enjoy your favorite music or answer phone calls wirelessly. Welcome to Sytech! Thank you for purchasing the Bluetooth Stereo Headset SY-X1230BT.

Please read this manual carefully before operating your product and pay close attention to the precautions

which are mentioned below. Store this user manual in a safe place for future reference.

We are sure that this new Bluetooth Stereo Headset will satisfy your needs.

USE OF THE SY-X1230BT

1. With your mobile phone – pair and connect to enjoy your favorite music or answer phone calls.

2. With your PC (built in Bluetooth function or with USB dongle for Bluetooth) – You can listen to music from

the internet, from your hard drive, enjoy web chatting (SKYPE, MSN etc...)

3. With your IPAD\ MID, It is compatible to use when streaming music.

4. LINE IN – Connect any external audio device and use the headphones like any other normal headphone

set.

BUTTONS AND FUNCTIONS(Please refer to the drawing)

S1：Next song / volume up

S2：Play/Pause

S3：Previous song / volume down

S4: Answer / Hang up / Reject call / Last number redial

S5：ON/OFF / Pairing / Switch microphone (switch microphone between mobile phone and headset)

LED：Dual colour led indicator

CHARGING

This product comes with a built in rechargeable batter, when using the unit for the first time, please charge it

completely before using (Approx 4 hours).

-When the LED indicator turns red, it means that the charging is in process.

-When the LED indicator flashes in red, it means that the unit needs charging.

-When the LED indicator turns off, that means that the unit is completely charged.

PAIRING

Before using the Bluetooth headset with your desired device, you must pair the unit with the device first.

1. Press and hold the S5 button for about 6 seconds. When the LED indicator begins to flash quickly between

Blue and Red light and/or when the headset emits a double “beep” sound, means that the unit is now ready to

pair.

2. Search for the Bluetooth headset on your mobile phone. After the search is co

mpleted, “SY-X1230BT” should

appe

ar on your screen.

3. Select SY-X1230BT on the list, and it will begin to pair with your headset. When the headset is paired with your

mobile ph

one, the headset emits a “beep” sound and the LED light turns blue and begins to flash slowly.

Attention:

- Certain mobile phones require to insert a pairing code, If this is the case please input “0000” (4 zeros)

- If the headphone does not pair with a device within 3 minutes, the headset will automatically turn off.

- If you notice that the mobile phone or PC is not searching the headset, please re-enter into pairing mode by

following the instructions above.

POWER ON/OFF

1. Power On

Press and hold the S5 button for a short time (1 second), the LED turns blue for one second and the

headphone emits a “beep” sound. The headset will automatically connect to the device which it has already

been paired with previously. When the reconnection is established the headset emits a “beep” sound once

again and the blue light begins to flash slowly.

Attention:

- Reconnection can only be established if the headset has been previously paired with the device.

- If the headphone is not reconnected to the device within 5 minutes, the headset will automatically turn off.

2. Power Off

Press and hold the S5 button for about 3 seconds, the LED turns blue for a few seconds continuously and the

headset emits a “beep” sound. The device is now turned off.

MAKING A PHONE CALL

When the Bluetooth headset and your mobile phone has been completed the pairing connection, you can use

the headset to answer a call or enjoy the stereo music over the cell phone.

DIALING, ANSWERING & ENDING A CALL

1. Dialing a call

1.1 Use your mobile phone to dial as usual; the call will automatically be switched to the Bluetooth headset.

(For some mobile phones, you may need to switch to the headset manually)

1.2 You may redial the last number by pressing the S4 button once.

2. Answering and ending a call

2.1 When there is an incoming call the phone will ring through the headset. Press the S4 button once to

answer the call.

2.2 When you are in an active call, press the S5 button to transfer the call to the phone; press it again to

transfer back the active call from the phone to the headset. (Some mobile phones may not support this

function)

2.3 To reject an incoming call, press and hold the S4 button for 1 second.

2.4 To decrease the volume of the headset press and hold the S3 button. To Increase the volume of the

headset press and hold the S1 button.

2.5 To end a call, press the S4 button once.

MUSIC PLAYBACK

Before playing music through your headset, make sure that the mobile phone you are using supports the

Bluetooth A2DP.

1．To skip to the next song, press the S3 button once

2．To skip to the previous song, press the S1 button once

3．To resume or pause playback press the S2 button once.

4. Press and hold the S3 button to decrease the volume; Press and hold the S1button to increase the

volume.

5. If you receive a phone call in between music playback,

press S4 to answer the call. Long press S4 for 1 second

to end a call or wait till the other party hangs up the call. Once the phone call has been finalized the music will start

playing automatically again.

AUX CONNECTION (LINE-IN)

If no Bluetooth devices are available to pair the headset with, you may use a 3.5 jack cable to connect an

external audio device to the headset and use it as a wired one.

LOW BATTERY INDICATOR

When the battery of the headset is low, the red light will begin to flash every 10 seconds or the headset will

emit a double “beep” sound. If the power is too low, then the unit will turn off automatically, please recharge

the unit fully before the next use.

- Using unoriginal accessories may cause performance degradation, personal injury, an electrical short circuit

and warranty failure.

- Disassembling the product can damage it and void your warranty.

- Do not place the headset in a dusty environment.

- Use a clean, soft, dry cloth to clean your headset.

- Store the product in a safe place.

- Keep children away from the headset.

- Avoid using the headset in extreme temperatures.

BATTERY MAINTENANCE

- For battery reparations, please contact Sytech Service Center.

- The rechargeable battery works at temperature between 10ºC – 45ºC.

- Battery capacity can be fully utilized at room temperature environment.

- In outdoor conditions, battery capacity may decrease.

- If you do not use the headset for a long time, please charge the battery at least once every two months.
