BellAire™ Model 7000 Tire Inflator Instructions
pressure. See #8 in figure 1.
When inflating items requiring 10 PSI or less, inflate in short bursts and check by feel or by a reliable measuring device to
determine accurate pressure.
The pressure gauge has a built-in memory and will default to the last pressure set in the pressure gauge display of the
inflator.
The pressure gauge on the inflator is for reference only and is therefore not binding for exact values. While inflating, the
gauge is a measurement of the fluctuating pressure between the tire and the high pressure hose. To reduce the risk of
over-inflation, use a reliable pressure gauge periodically during inflation before driving a vehicle inflated with the inflator.
4. Turn on the main power switch only.
5. Check the inflator to make certain green battery level indicator is on indicating a good battery power level. If the bat-
tery level indicator is not green, refer to directions under the “Rechargeable Battery Cautions” section on page 4 and
“Battery Indicator Light Chart” section on page 5.
6. Check manufacturer’s recommended pressure specifications for inflatable.
7. Choose the desired pressure format (PSI, BAR, or KPA) by pressing the “R” button. Press “R” button until desired pres-
sure format appears on the LCD display. See #5 in figure 2.
IMPORTANT: The “R” re-set button should never be pressed while the air hose is connected to the inflatable and the
“R”,”+”, “–“ buttons should never be pressed while the inflator is running. If the “R” button is accidently pressed, turn the
inflator power switch only to the off position (see #2 in figure 1), then press and hold down “–“ to check the pre-set pres-
sure. See #6 in figure 2. Adjust “+” or “–“ to set desired pressure.
8. Set the auto shut-off pressure level by pressing the “+” or “–“ buttons. Once the pre-set pressure is set, wait a few
seconds for the display to change back to zero.
9. Turn on inflator power switch to the HI position. See #2 in figure 1. The BellAire™ 7000 will now inflate your inflat-
able item to the pre-set pressure level and then shut off automatically. After pre-set auto shut-off has taken place,
turn inflator power switch to the off (middle) position. See #2 in figure 1.
10. To stop inflator before reaching the pre-set auto shut-off pressure, turn inflator power switch to the off (middle) posi-
tion. See #2 in figure 1.
11. Remove air hose nozzle from inflatable, remove adapter needle from air hose nozzle by turning the adapter needle
counterclockwise, and return air hose and adapter needle to their storage locations on inflator.
12. Turn off the inflator main power switch. See #1 in figure 1.
13. Properly store your tire inflator in the carry bag provided.
USING THE HIGH VOLUME/LOW PRESSURE RAFT INFLATOR
The high volume/low pressure raft inflator is used for inflating and deflating air mattresses, rafts and floats and cannot be
used for tires, sports balls or other items requiring higher pressures.
IMPORTANT: When the raft hose is connected to the low pressure ports of the BellAire™ 7000, the pre-set auto shut-off
system is not in use. Air pressure must be manually monitored to avoid over-inflation of items.
CAUTION: Never block the inflating or deflating ports while inflator is in operation.
INFLATING AIR MATRESSES, RAFTS AND FLOATS WITH THE RAFT INFLATOR
TO INFLATE USING A VEHICLE 12 VOLT DC CIGARETTE LIGHTER SOCKET:
1. Remove and unwind 12 Volt power cord from the storage compartment. See #22 in figure 1, page 3.
2. Remove the low pressure raft hose (see #24 in figure 1) from its storage location. See #19 in figure 1. Attach the ap-
propriate size raft adapter that comes connected to the raft hose. See figure 4, page 3.
3. Attach raft hose to the right “Inflate” port on the front of the inflator. See #16 in figure 1.
4. Insert raft adapter end of raft hose into item to be inflated.
5. Make certain the inflator main and inflator power switches are both in the off position. See #1 & #2 in figure 1.
6. Set emergency brake and start vehicle engine. See “Warning: Vehicle Exhaust Without Proper Ventilation”, page 4.
7. Plug inflator lighter plug into vehicle 12 Volt cigarette lighter socket.
8. Turn on the main power switch only. See #1 in figure 1.
9. Check manufacturer’s recommended pressure specifications for inflatable.
10. Turn on inflator power switch to the LO position. See #2 in figure 1. The BellAire™ 7000 will now inflate your inflat-
able using the high volume/low pressure inflator.
11. Stop inflator frequently to check inflatable air pressure by switching the inflator power switch to the middle position.
Remember to switch back to the LO position when turning inflator back on.
