Volvo A2D-VOL is a Bluetooth adapter that allows you to stream audio from your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device to your Volvo's car stereo. It connects to the 8-pin CD changer port on the radio, so you can keep your factory radio and still enjoy Bluetooth features.

Although not critical, we recommend disconnecting the car
battery. Keep in mind that most Volvo radios are coded and will not operate
without the code. Radio code must be available for radio to operate upon
reconnection.
1. To remove you must first push in on the release tabs at the
bottom Left/Right of Radio as seen in Fig. 1

This process is done upon initial install and will not have to be
repeated

The A2D-VOL connects to one device at a time. You must disconnect the
first device before pairing a second, or simply turn OFF Bluetooth on first
device.

3. Press CD, CH6 or CHGR button on Radio.

ote: If radio does not switch to CD Changer, cycle ignition OFF/ON and
try again.
4. Launch Smartphone or tablet Audio streaming application
5. Use the radio volume control button to set the playback level.
6. Make certain audio device volume is set to at least 80%. Turn
volume on radio to a comfortable listening level. If distorted,
lower the volume on device until playback is distortion free.
7. If correct operation is confirmed go ahead and reinstall radio.
