IN STRUC TIONS:
1. Re move cowl ing, up per and lower sec tions, per Serv ice and Main te nance Man ual (S & M).
2. Re move ex ist ing land ing light lens from front of lower cowl ing.
3. In spect en gine com part ment and cowl ing ex te rior and in te rior for evi dence of any heat dam age;
i.e., charred paint on cowl ing, charred fi ber glass, de te rio rated cowl snub bers, de te rio ra ted rub ber en -
gine mounts, paint flak ing on steel cross- over en gine mount, etc. In spect the sin gle alu min ized shield
on top of land ing light cav ity for con di tion. Re pair or re place any dam age per Serv ice & Ma in te nance
Man ual and Moo ney Serv ice In struc tion M20- 67, 10- 12- 83 and S.I. M20- 79, 9- 1- 86.
4. When re pairs have been com pleted in stall new land ing light lens, P/N 650213- 005, to lower cowl -
ing us ing ex it ing fas ten ers.
5. Re in stall lower and up per en gine cowl ing per S & M man ual.
6. Re move ex ist ing land ing light lens from front of lower cowl ing.
7. In spect en gine com part ment and cowl ing ex te rior and in te rior for evi dence of heat dam age, i.e.,
charred paint on cowl ing, charred fi ber glass, de te rio rated cowl snub ber - de te rio rated ru b ber en gine
mounts, paint flak ing on steel cross- over en gine mount, etc. In spect the two alu min ized shields in the
lower cowl ing,
(1) on top of land ing light cav ity and
(2) on the side of cowl ing near tur bo charger lo ca tion for con di tion. Re pair or re place any dam aged
com po nent or area per Moo ney S & M Man ual and Moo ney Serv ice In struc tion M20- 79, dated 9- 1-
86.
8. In stall ex haust shield assy, P/N 630122- 501 us ing (2 ea.) P/N QS100M36S clamps to se cure o n
en gine ex haust cross- over mani fold, (see Fig ure No. M20- 235-1).
9. When all com po nents have been in stalled and any re pairs com pleted in stall new land ing light
lens, P/N 650172- 003, lower cowl ing us ing ex ist ing fas ten ers.
10. Re in stall lower and up per en gine cowl ing per S & M Man ual.
11. Make ap pro pri ate Log Book en try and re turn air craft to serv ice.

All parts and la bor up to 1.0 hours will be cred ited to the Moo ney Mar ket ing or Serv-
ice Cen ter upon re ceipt of proper war ranty pa per work com pleted by April 1, 1987.
