1.1. Information about these operating instructions
Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance! You have chosen a high-
quality product. These operating instructions are an integral part of this product. They
contain important safety information and instructions for use and disposal. Before using
the product, please familiarize yourself with all operating and safety instructions. Only
use the product as described and for the specified applications. Keep these operating
instructions in a safe place. If you give this product to someone else, please be sure to
also hand over all the documents.

The following symbols and signal words are used in these operating instructions, on the
microwave or on the packaging.

This signal word indicates a hazard with a high degree of risk which, if not avoided,

The microwave may only be used for heating appropriate foods in
microwave-suitable containers and dishes. Do not use outside!

Risk of injury through exposure to microwave radiation.
Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open
since open door operation can result in harmful exposure to
microwave energy. It is important not to defeat or tamper with
the safety interlocks.
Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door
or allows soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particular
important that the oven door close properly and that there is
no damage to the: door (bent), hinges and latches (broken
or loosened). Microwave radiation may leak outside if the
appliance is damaged.

The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except
properly qualified service personnel.
Before using for the first time and after each use, check the
microwave oven for damage.
If you discover any transport damage, contact the Service
Center immediately.
WARNING! It is dangerous for untrained persons to carry out
repair or maintenance work which requires the removal of a
cover which is in place to prevent the escape of microwave
radiation.
Do not under any circumstances make any unauthorized
modifications to the microwave or try to open a component
and/or repair it yourself. Only allow the microwave oven to
be repaired by a professional workshop or contact the Service
Center in order to avoid risks.
Do not remove any of the microwave oven’s internal covers or
the inner coating of the viewing window, as this could lead to
microwave radiation leakage.
Do not use any replacement or accessory parts that have not
been approved or supplied by us.
WARNING!
Risk of injury!
There is a risk of injury from exploding containers.
Do not heat food or liquids in sealed or tightly closed
containers! These can explode in the appliance and cause
injuries on opening. Remove the lids from containers which
close, such as baby bottles.

CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
There is a risk of burns.
Food prepared in the microwave oven may heat up unevenly.
Check the temperature of food before eating. When preparing
baby food and bottles, always stir the food or shake the bottle
before checking the temperature in order to avoid burns.
Do not heat eggs in their shells or prepare whole hard-boiled
eggs in the microwave oven as they can explode while
cooking and even after removal from the oven. Eggs may only
be cooked in microwave dishes designed specifically for this
purpose.
Prick or score foods that have a tough skin, such as tomatoes,
sausages, eggplant, etc., before cooking in order to prevent
them from bursting.
Hot steam will escape when you open cooking containers (e.g.
popcorn bags, cans). Always hold the opening away from you
when opening.
Hot steam will escape when you open the door. Do not stand
too close.
The surfaces of the microwave, the accessory parts, and the
dishes will become very hot during the cooking process. Use
oven gloves. Allow parts to cool down before cleaning.

HEATING OF LIQUIDS
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
There is a risk of burns.
Liquids such as water, coffee,or tee are able to be overheated
beyond the boiling point without appearing to be boiling. Visible
bubbling or boiling when the container is removed from the
microwave oven is not always present.
THIS COULD RESULT IN VERY HOT LIQUID SUDDENLY
BOILING OVER WHEN THE CONTAINER IS DISTURBED OR A
SPOON OR OTHER UTENSIL IS INSERTED INTO THE LIQUID.
To reduce the risk of injury to person.
Do not overheat the liquid.
Stir the liquid both before and halfway through heating it.
Do not use straight-sided containers with narrow necks.
After heating, allow the container to stand in the microwave
oven for a short time before removing the container
Use extreme care when inserting a spoon or other utensil into
the container.

Do not place objects on top of the microwave oven. To ensure
adequate ventilation, make sure that a minimum safe clearance
distance of 8’’ to the top and 2’’ is maintained on both sides.
Do not cover or block any openings on the appliance (see
Fig.C).
Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.
The microwave oven is not designed to be operated with an
external timer or a separate remote control system.
When heating or cooking food in flammable materials such
as plastic or paper containers, never leave the microwave
unattended.
The appliance may only be used for heating appropriate food
in suitable containers and dishes.
Do not heat or attempt to dry combustible objects in the
appliance (food or clothes, small heating cushions, slippers,
sponges, wet cloths, etc.).
Do not prepare food containing alcohol. Do not use the
appliance to deep-fry or to heat oil!
If smoke starts to emerge, keep the door closed in order
to prevent fire from breaking out or to smother any flames.
Immediately turn oven off, and disconnect the power cord, shut
off power at the fuse or circuit breaker panel.
Always use standard popcorn packaging that is designed for
making popcorn in a microwave.
Never exceed the cooking times specified by the manufacturer.
Do not store any food or other objects in the microwave oven.

PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID AN
ELECTRICAL SHOCK
DANGER!

Risk of injury through electric shock.
Before using for the first time and after each use, check the
microwave oven and the power cord for damage.
Make sure that the power cord is not damaged and does not
run underneath the microwave or over hot surfaces or sharp
edges.
Completely unwind the power cord.
Do not bend or squash the power cord.
If you discover any transport damage, contact the Service
Center immediately.
Only connect the microwave to a properly installed, grounded,
and fuse-protected electrical outlet (see „GROUNDING
INSTRUCTIONS“ on page 15). The voltage at the outlet
must correspond to the technical data for the appliance.
The outlet must be freely accessible so that you can unplug the
microwave from the power outlet quickly if necessary.
Do not under any circumstances make any unauthorized
modifications to the microwave or try to open a component
and/or repair it yourself. Only allow the power cord to be

You are cleaning the appliance
Liquid has penetrated into the appliance
The appliance is no longer in use
Make sure no water drips or is sprayed on the microwave oven.
Do not let the appliance come into contact with water or other
liquids. Keep the appliance, the power cord and the plug away
from wash basins, sinks or the like. Should liquid ever penetrate
into the appliance, disconnect the plug from the grounded
power outlet immediately. Have the appliance checked by a
qualified specialist repair service.
Never touch the appliance or the power cord with wet hands.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short
circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing
an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance is equipped
with a cord having outlet that a grounding plug. The plug must be
plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.
WARNING!
Improper use of the grounding can result in a risk of electric shock.
Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if the grounding
instructions are not completely understood, or if doubt exists as to

Do not use extension cord. If the power supply cord is too short,
have a qualified electrician or service man install an outlet near
the appliance.
USE OF EXTENSION CORDS
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Longer cord sets or extension cords are available and may be
used if care is exercised in their use.
If long cord or extension cord is used:
The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension
cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the
appliance.
The extension cord must be a grounding-type 3-wire cord, and
