Anwendungen
Der DT 48 wird vor allem in Studios als Kontrollhörer einge setzt. Auch für Reporter
und Kamerateams gilt er als Standardaus rüstung zur Ergänzung von DAT oder MD-
Recordern.
Charakteristik
• Durch die geschlossene Arbeitsweise des Hörers werden Umgebungs geräusche
wirkungsvoll ausgeblendet.
• Auswechselbare, weiche Ohr- und Kopfpolster aus Softskin bieten einen hohen
Langzeit-Tragekomfort.
• Der verstellbare Bügel hat ein velourvernickeltes Feder stahlband und kann jeder
Kopfgröße angepasst werden.
Pflege
Aus hygienischen Gründen sollten Sie den Kopfhörer von Zeit zu Zeit mit einem
weichen, feuchten Tuch reinigen. Verwenden Sie nur milde Reinigungsmittel
(z.B. Geschirrspül mittel), auf keinen Fall lösemittelhaltige Reiniger. Achten Sie darauf,
dass kein Wasser in die Wandler läuft.
Da Ohr- und Kopfpolster einem natürlichen Verschleiß unter liegen, sollten sie von Zeit
zu Zeit ausgetauscht werden (siehe Ersatzteile).

Im Servicefall wenden Sie sich bitte an autorisiertes Fach personal.
Sicherheit
Wenn Sie den Kopfhörer an Ihren Verstärker anschließen, achten Sie darauf, dass die
Lautstärke (Volume) zunächst auf Minimum gedreht ist. Regeln Sie die Lautstärke erst
nach Aufsetzen des Kopfhörers.
Im allgemeinen wird mit Kopfhörern lauter abgehört als mit Lautsprechern. Hohe
Lautstärken können, sofern sie über längere Zeit auf das Ohr einwirken, zu dauer-
haften Hörschäden führen. Schonen Sie Ihr gesundes Gehör - auch bei niedriger
Lautstärke haben beyerdynamic-Kopfhörer ihren vollen Klang.

Thank you for selecting the DT 48 dynamic studio headphone. Please take some time
to read carefully through this information before using the product.
Applications
The DT 48 is primarily designed for monitoring use in recording studios. It is also used
in ENG/EFP applications as part of the standard equipment of field engineers requiring
exceptional performance to meet the standards set by DAT and MiniDisc portable
recorders.
Design Features
• The fully enclosed ear caps eliminate ambient noise, essential for accurate
monitoring.
• The headband and earphone cushioning systems have been carefully designed for
maximum wearing comfort and serviceability as we appreciate that the DT 48 will be
used for long periods of time.
• The fully adjustable headband ensures a good fit even on the most demanding
locations.
Maintenance
As with any equipment which will be used in close proximity to sensitive parts of the
body, it is essential that the ear pads and the headband are kept clean. Use a damp
cloth for cleaning the ear pads and headband using only gentle cleansing agents
(such as washing-up liquid). Take care not to allow any water drops into the
transducer elements and do not use any solvent cleaners.
Should it become necessary to replace the ear pads or the headband cushion, refer
to “Spares”.
Service
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, the headphone should be returned to your
beyerdynamic dealer.
Safety
When plugging your headphones into an amplifier, please make sure that the volume
control is set at minimum and is adjusted after they have been put on.
It is a common phenomenon to listen to music through headphones at high levels.
Please take into consideration that too high volume levels listened to over long periods
of time may lead to irrevocable hearing damage.

Applications
Le DT 48 est utilisé surtout dans un environnement de studio pour le contrôle
acoustique. Mais il est aussi l’outil standard des reporters et cadreurs pour compléter
leurs équipements DAT ou MD.
Caractéristique

Entretien
Pour des raison hygiéniques il est important de nettoyer le casque régulièrement avec
un chiffon humide. N’utilisez que des produits de nettoyage doux (par ex., produit
pour vaisselle), mais en aucun cas des produits détergeants. Veillez à ce que l’eau ne
s’infiltre pas dans les systèmes d’écoute.
Etant donné que les oreillettes et le bandeau sont sujets à l’usure naturelle, ces
éléments devraient être remplacés de temps en temps (voir pièces de rechange).

Sécurité
Lorsque vous branchez le casque sur un amplificateur, veillez à ce que le volume
d’écoute soit d’abord ramené au niveau minimum. N’ajustez le volume d’écoute
qu’après avoir revêtu le casque.
L’écoute au casque se fait généralement à un niveau plus élevé qu’avec des haut-
parleurs. Sachez qu’une écoute prolongée à niveau élevé peut entraîner des lésions
auditives irrémédiables. Protégez votre audition, les casques beyerdynamic restituent
la plénitude du spectre sonore, même à volume réduit.
