Sie haben sich für den dynamischen Studiohörer DT 48 von

beyerdynamic entschieden. Vielen Dank für Ihr Vertrauen. Nehmen

Sie sich bitte einige Minuten Zeit und lesen Sie diese Produkt-

information vor Inbetriebnahme aufmerksam durch.

Anwendungen

Der DT 48 wird vor allem in Studios als Kontrollhörer einge-

setzt. Auch für Reporter und Kamerateams gilt er als Standardaus-

rüstung zur Ergänzung von DAT oder MD-Recordern.

Die Ausführung DT 48 E mit einseitiger Kabelführung eignet sich

besonders für den Reportageeinsatz mit Fernsehkameras.

Charakteristik

• Durch die geschlossene Arbeitsweise des Hörers werden

Umgebungsgeräusche wirkungsvoll ausgeblendet.

• Auswechselbare, weiche Ohr- und Kopfpolster aus Softskin

bieten einen hohen Langzeit-Tragekomfort.

• Der verstellbare Bügel hat ein velourvernickeltes Federstahlband

und kann jeder Kopfgröße angepaßt werden.

Pflege

Aus hygienischen Gründen sollten Sie den Kopfhörer von

Zeit zu Zeit mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch reinigen. Verwenden

Sie nur milde Reinigungsmittel (z.B. Geschirrspülmittel), auf keinen

Fall lösemittelhaltige Reiniger. Achten Sie darauf, daß kein Wasser

in die Wandler läuft.

Da Ohr- und Kopfpolster einem natürlichen Verschleiß unterliegen,

sollten sie von Zeit zu Zeit ausgetauscht werden (siehe Ersatzteile).

Im Servicefall wenden Sie sich bitte an autorisiertes Fach-

personal.

Wichtiger Hinweis

Wenn Sie den Kopfhörer an Ihren Verstärker anschließen,

achten Sie darauf, daß die Lautstärke (Volume) zunächst auf

Minimum gedreht ist. Regeln Sie die Lautstärke erst nach Aufsetzen

des Kopfhörers.

Im allgemeinen wird mit Kopfhörern lauter abgehört als mit

Lautsprechern. Hohe Lautstärken können, sofern sie über längere

Zeit auf das Ohr einwirken, zu dauerhaften Hörschäden führen.

Schonen Sie Ihr gesundes Gehör - auch bei niedriger Lautstärke

haben beyerdynamic-Kopfhörer ihren vollen Klang.

Please take some time to read carefully through this product

information before setting up the equipment.

Applications

The DT 48 is primarily designed for monitoring use in

recording studios. It is also used in ENG/EFP applications as part of

the standard equipment of field engineers requiring exceptional

performance to meet the standards set by DAT and MiniDisc

portable recorders.

The DT 48 E with single-sided cable is especially recommended for

reporting applications.

Design Features

• The fully enclosed ear caps eliminate ambient noise, essential for

accurate monitoring.

• The headband and earphone cushioning systems have been

carefully designed for maximum wearing comfort and

serviceability as we appreciate that the DT 48 will be used for

long periods of time.

• The fully adjustable headband ensures a good fit even on the

most demanding locations.

Maintenance

As with any equipment which will be used in close proximity

to sensitive parts of the body, it is essential that the ear pads and the

headband are kept clean. Use a damp cloth for cleaning the ear pads

and headband using only gentle cleansing agents (such as washing-

up liquid). Take care not to allow any water drops into the

transducer elements and do not use any solvent cleaners.

Should it become necessary to replace the ear pads or the headband

cushion, refer to “Spares”.

Service

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, the headphone

should be returned to your beyerdynamic dealer.

Safety

When plugging your headphones into an amplifier, please

make sure that the volume control is set at minimum and is adjusted

after they have been put on.

It is a common phenomenon to listen to music through headphones

at high levels. Please take into consideration that too high volume

levels listened to over long periods of time may lead to irrevocable

hearing damage.

Applications

Le DT 48 est utilisé surtout dans un environnement de studio

pour le contrôle acoustique. Mais il est aussi l’outil standard des

reporters et cadreurs pour compléter leurs équipements DAT ou MD.

La version DT 48 E avec câble à connexion unilatérale se prête

particulièrement aux reportages avec des caméras TV.

Caractéristique

• Etant donné que le DT 48 est un casque fermé, les bruits

ambiants sont éliminés effectivement.

•

Grâce aux oreillettes/bandeau serre-tête souples et remplaçables

en Softskin, ce casque vous offre un grand confort d’écoute

même pour de longues heures de travail.

• L’arceau serre-tête dispose d’un bandeau nickelé en velours et

peut être adapté à la forme de tête.

Entretien

Pour des raison hygiéniques il est important de nettoyer le

casque régulièrement avec un chiffon humide. N’utilisez que des

produits de nettoyage doux (par ex., produit pour vaisselle), mais en

aucun cas des produits détergeants. Veillez à ce que l’eau ne s’infiltre

pas dans les systèmes d’écoute.

Etant donné que les oreillettes et le bandeau sont sujets à l’usure

naturelle, ces éléments devraient être remplacés de temps en temps

(voir pièces de rechange).

Service après-vente

En cas de nécessité veuillez vous adresser à un technicien

beyerdynamic autorisé.

Note importante

Lorsque vous branchez le casque sur un amplificateur, veillez à ce

que le volume d’écoute soit d’abord ramené au niveau minimum.

N’ajustez le volume d’écoute qu’après avoir revêtu le casque.

L’écoute au casque se fait généralement à un niveau plus élevé qu’a-

vec des haut-parleurs. Sachez qu’une écoute prolongée à niveau

élevé peut entraîner des lésions auditives irrémédiables. Protégez

votre audition, les casques beyerdynamic restituent la plénitude du

spectre sonore, même à volume réduit.

Garantie

In den Ländern der EU (EWR) bietet beyerdynamic neben den gesetz-

lichen Gewährleistungsansprüchen gegen den Verkäufer Garantie für

die in der EU gekauften Geräte. Die Garantieleistung beinhaltet

Material und Arbeit während der Garantiezeit, welche in den einzel-

nen Ländern der EU vom beyerdynamic-Vertriebspartner festgesetzt

ist.

In allen Ländern gelten neben den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen die

von der beyerdynamic-Verkaufsstelle gewährten Garantieleistungen.

Die Garantie ist in diesem Fall nur im Verkaufsland gültig und beträgt

in der BRD 12 Monate. Die Garantie erlischt bei unsachgemäßen

Eingriffen oder nicht fachmännisch durchgeführten Reparaturen.

Eventuell mitgelieferte Batterien, sowie Teile, die beim Gebrauch

einem natürlichen Verschleiß unterliegen, wie Anschlußkabel,

Ohrmuschel, Kopfpolster etc. sind von der Garantie ausgeschlossen.

Wichtig: Die Rechnung gilt als Garantieschein.

Warranty

In the countries that are part of the EC (EEC) beyerdynamic supplies a

warranty for the equipment purchased there. The warranty covers

labour and material during at least 12 months from the date of

purchase. In all other respects the warranty is subject to the laws of

the corresponding country.

In all other countries either the legal provisions or the warranty

granted by the beyerdynamic dealer is applicable. In this case the war-

ranty is only valid within the country of sale.

The warranty becomes null and void if the equipment has been

tampered with or repaired by inexperienced persons.

Batteries supplied and parts which are subject to normal wear and

tear such as connecting cables, ear- and head-cushions are excluded

from this warranty.

Important: The invoice is accepted as the guarantee.

Garantie

Dans les pays de la CE (CEE) beyerdynamic garantit les appareils qui y

ont été achetés. La prestation de garantie comprend le matérial et la

main-d’œuvre pendant au moins 12 mois à dater de l’achat. Par ail-

leurs, les prestations de garantie sont accordées selon les prescriptions

Dans tous les autres pays, les dispositions légales ou les prestations de
