Introduction
ThankyouforselectingtheExtechInstrumentsModelSC600ElectronicCountingScale/Balance.
The SC600 is microprocessor controlled and uses a load cell transducer for high accuracy and
optimumperformance.TheSC600offersalargemeasurementcapacity,highresolution,andlarge
easy to read display. The slide switch on the back of the scale allows for the selection of
measurementunits(gramorounce).
A selfcalibration utility is builtin and the calibration data is stored internally even upon power
down. The RS232 PC interface allows for the transfer of measurement data between the SC600
andaPC.
The SC600 includes ‘bubble’ level, adjustable rubber feetfor leveling, and heavyduty ABSplastic
