#12 wood screws (minimum)

INSTALLATION:
WARNING: Risk of severe personal injury.
Minimum 1/2” plywood or 2x4 studding is
required to ensure safe mounting support for
this grab bar. Refer to ASTM F446 for additional
information.
1. Determine the required location for the grab bar
installation, and mark the finish wall surface
accordingly.
NOTE: Use care to avoid scratching the product
finish.
2. Slip an escutcheon onto each end of the grab bar.
3. Handtighten a bracket onto each end of the grab bar.
4. Ensure that the grab bar is plumb or level, as
required. Then secure the brackets to the wall with
minimum #12 wood screws. Do not use drywall
screws.
5. Slide the escutcheons flat against the wall, and
secure by tightening the setscrews. Do not
overtighten.
