Thank you for purchasing the Celestron Green Laser Pointer which is:
Perfect for astronomy to point out stars, planets, constellations, and other astronomical objects --- use by yourself or
share with others standing nearby.
Useful for lectures and presentations where a pointer makes it more interesting.
Installation/Replacement of Batteries
Your laser operates with two AAA alkaline batteries and two are included with your laser. Battery life is two to four hours with
normal use.
Unscrew the end cap counterclockwise to remove it. Install the batteries with the positive (+) ends facing towards the end cap.
Screw the end cap back into the tube by turning it clockwise until finger tight.
Note: Remove the batteries when the laser is not to be used for a long period of time.
Operating the Laser Pointer
Push the Momentary Button down and hold it to use the laser. Release the button to stop using it. Note that at
times the laser may not power up for 5 to 20 seconds and this is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
This laser is designed for short-duration use (less than one minute at a time). After a minute of use, let the laser
recharge itself for a couple of minutes and you can use it again.
Do not operate at temperatures exceeding 35°C (95°F) or less than -5°C (23°F) or the laser may act erratically.
Also do not immerse in water or expose the laser to high levels of humidity.
Safety Precautions
This laser product is designated as Class 3R during all procedures of operation:

Laser Power < 5mW CW Divergence < 1.5mrad
Laser Light – Avoid Direct Eye Exposure
The laser is not to be opened or modified by the user with the exception of installing batteries
Do not point the laser or allow laser lights to be directed or reflected toward other people or animals
Use great caution around face and eyes – do not point the laser at your eyes or face!
Do not shine the laser at aircraft, automobiles, into windows or at other objects as you could cause damage and be
held legally liable for your actions
Keep the laser away from children!
Do not drop the laser or bang it on a hard surface or damage may result.
Service
There is no service allowed by the customer or third parties. A defective unit is to be returned to the factory for
any service or repairs.
Warranty -- 2-Year limited Note: If the product has been taken apart, the warranty is null and void.
