Chapter 1 introduction of DRD28A audio processor
The DRD28A audio processor is a 1U device with multifunction of signal mixing, route, equalizer, etc,
which simultaneously handles up to 8 channels analog signal with Line/Mic input.
With an internal 200 MIPS SHARC processor, it processes audio signals with 40-bit floating-point
precision by using C-MARK DRD28A software.
Therefore DRD28A audio processor is capable of processing high quality audio signal. It has been
widely applied in various occasions, including professional and entertainment applications.
1 C-MARK DRD28A FEATURES

2 Preset program selection button
Select different modes of interface through rotation button. Pre-set program, input channel set and
output channel set are three tacitly approved modes.
Set the above 3 modes of interface by pressing Down
(1) Select the needed mode from the 01-08 pre-set modes; when selecting the mode for
changing current pre-set program, changing mode, please wait…” will be displayed on the LCD
screen. Later it will show the sequence No. and name of the selected program mode.
(2) Set the diameters Of input channel: diameters like input channels sequence No. (IN 1-8),types of
audio inputLine/Mic,Line property(Sensitivity and Trim),Mic property(gain and phantom power
switch)and norm/anti can be set.
(3) Set the diameters Of output channel: diameters like output channels sequence No. (OUT
1-8),level value(Db), MUTE- Y/Nnorm/anti can be set.
3Corresponding LED light for 1-8 signal input channels
Green light means signal input is available in the channel;
Red light signifies channel examination when starting the device, while after device started; it means
the channel input signal level exceeds the preset threshold.

Chapter 3 System installation
C-MARK DRD28A equipment is simple to be installed and used. You only need to connect C-MARK the
DRD28A to a computer with the serial port cable. Then by operating the software of the computer, the
processing and setup of 8 channels audio signal input can be achieved.
A consolette can be set up through software control of C-MARK the DRD28A. It is suggested that this
mode be used in small audio amplifying fields.
The operation and installation steps are as follows:
Step 1:
Connect C-MARK DRD28A equipment with the computer directly through a serial port cable, and
connect the audio source input to the Line/MIC input interface of C-MARK DRD28A rear panel,
and connect the external amplifying device to the output interface of the rear panel (shown as the
following schematic drawing).
