IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
- This product is designed for household use only -
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precauons should always be followed,
including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock and personal injury, do not immerse this appliance,
including cord and plug, in water or other liquid.

15. Keep hands and utensils away from the blades when in use.
16. When blending HOT liquids, use cauon and always remove Measuring Cup from cover.
17. Do not operate without cover in place.
18. Do not operate without food or liquid in Jar.
19. Do not use appliance to cut frozen foods, bones or pied fruits.
20. Make sure the motor stops completely and power cord is removed before removing or
assembling any items.

Polarized Plug: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce risk of electric shock, plug is intended to t into polarized outlet only one way. If
the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it sll does not t, contact a
qualied electrician. Do not try to modify the plug in any way.
Short Cord Instrucons: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulng
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords may be used
if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rang of
the cord should be at least as great as the electrical rang of the appliance. The longer cord
should be arranged so that it will not drape over the tabletop where it can be pulled on by
children or tripped over unintenonally.

FEATURES
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Read and understand all instrucons and keep for future reference.
2. Remove all packaging.
3. Remove the Jar from Base (see Care and Cleaning secon). Wash the Jar, Lid and
Measuring Cup in warm soapy water. NOTE: Be careful when handling the Jar, blades
inside are sharp.
4. Rinse, Dry and Re-assemble blender parts.
5. Wipe the Blender Base with a damp cloth. DO NOT IMMERSE THE BLENDER BASE IN
WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
OPERATION
1. Place base on a at, stable surface.
2. Be sure the unit is disconnected from electrical outlet before installing or removing any
components.
3. Place Jar onto Base, aligning tabs, and turn slightly clockwise to lock into place. Unit has a
safety design which will not operate if the Jar is not posioned properly onto the Base.
4. Fill Jar with desired foods. Do not exceed Maximum ll line (Max = 50 oz. / 1500mL).
5. DO NOT USE BLENDER WHILE EMPTY OR WITHOUT JAR AND COVER IN PLACE.
6. Place cover onto Jar and push rmly to secure.
7. Install Measuring Cup and turn to lock. If blending hot foods, remove measuring cup from
cover while blending.
8. Set the control dial to ‘OFF’ and connect the cord to 120V electrical outlet.
9. Turn the knob to ‘ON’ posion. Backlight will turn on, indicang power is ON.
10. For auto sengs, press PULSE, ICE or SMOOTHIE to operate in corresponding mode.
11. To adjust speed, turn control dial between Minimum (lowest speed) and Maximum
(highest speed) to choose desired speed seng.
NOTE: DO NOT OPERATE UNIT CONTINUOUSLY FOR MORE THAN 2 MINUTES.

CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turn control dial to OFF and unplug cord from power outlet.
2. Clean base with a so, wet cloth and mild cleaning soluon. Wipe dry.
3. To clean the Jar, ll halfway with water and mild cleaning soluon, cover and operate at
low speed for 1 - 2 minutes unl clean.
4. Remove Jar and empty contents, rinse and dry thoroughly. CAUTION - BLADES ARE SHARP,
USE CARE WHEN CLEANING!
5. Never use aggresive cleansers or metal scouring pads to clean components.
