Installation Detail
Electrical Power Connection
Attach the SR61 Charger
power cable to the lift truck’s DC power source. The SR61 Charger is polarity
independent so it does not matter which wire is positive or negative. The optimum place to connect to the lift truck
power is between the battery and the ignition key.
The SR61 Charger (part # 761) is designed to work with 12, 24, 36 and 48 volt lift trucks.
Notice: Please consult with your lift truck manufacturer for any specific electrical installation instructions
that may apply.
Some lift truck’s electrical systems generate high voltage electrical spikes and/or large surge currents,
conditions that will damage various electronic devices and render them inoperable. Some lift truck
manufacturers provide filtered electrical accessory connections to be used in those instances.
Use the JLC recommended electrical connection diagramed unless the lift manufacturer recommends
other connection points.
