ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Check tht the mins voltge mtches with the
voltge on the dt plte inside the rngehood.
Check tht the instlltion complies with
stndrds of locl building, gs nd electricl

Only plug this unit into  properly erthed outlet.
If in doubt seek dvise from  suitbly qulied
person or service gent.
Rated Voltage & Frequency: 220-240V~ 50Hz-60Hz
Motor Input Power: 100W/125W
WARNING: If the supply cord is dmged, it must
be replced by the mnufcturer or its service
gent or similrly qulied person in order to void
 hzrd.

The following rules must be strictly followed to
obtin optiml ir extrction.
Keep exhust ue short nd stright.
Do not reduce the size or restrict exhust ue.
Keep bends in the exhust ue to  minimum;
the more bends the lower the extrction

When using exible ue lwys instll
duct with helix pulled tut to minimise
pressure loss.
Connect the extrctor to the exhust ue
through  pipe of minimum dimeter 120mm
Filure to observe these bsic instructions will
drsticlly reduce the performnce nd increse
the noise levels of the rngehood.
Exhust ir must not be dischrged into  wll

Alwys ensure tht  sucient supply of fresh ir
is gurnteed nd tht the ir cn circulte.
An ir supply / extrctor box lone does not
ensure complince with the limit vlue.
Sfe opertion is only possible when the negtive
pressure in the room where the pplince is locted
does not exceed 4 P (0.04 mbr). This cn be

A power point must be locted within 1.5m of
the power cord exit from the rngehood, nd it
should be lwys ccessible to llow isoltion
from power during clening or mintennce.
All ducting must comply with building codes nd
locl requirements.
If you re re-circulting the ir, rther thn
ducting, plese ensure tht the outlet grilles re
not obstructed in ny wy s this will ect the
eciency of the rngehood.
Ensure tht the rngehood is mounted in 
level position, both horizontlly nd verticlly.
This is essentil to ensure the rngehood
opertes correctly nd prevents grese build
up t one end.
IMPORTANT: Never use  silicone round
your rngehood or ue pieces. Never instll the
rngehood or ue pieces into the plster ceiling
which prevents esy ccess to the rngehood for
servicing requirements.
IMPORTANT: Before instlling your rngehood,
plese record the detils of your rngehood’s rting
lbel (locted within the rngehood, behind the
luminium grese lters) into the form on pge 19.
This will be helpful should you need to contct our
service tem in the future.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Check tht the instlltion complies with the
stndrds of locl building, gs nd electricl
uthorities. Before connecting your rngehood to
the mins supply, ensure tht the mins voltge
corresponds to the voltge on the rting plte inside
the rngehood.
RECIRCULATING INSTALLATION
Before beginning the instlltion of your rngehood,
consider your ducting method.
We recommend ducting your rngehood wherever
possible, for the mximum performnce, however
this rngehood cn be operted in recirculting
mode. You will need to purchse the relevnt
Crbon Filter ccessory which is vilble for
purchse from our After Sles Service Tem.
If you do not hve n outlet to the outside, n
exhust pipe is not required. The rest of the
instlltion method is the sme s Ducted
Instlltion.
If you choose recirculting instlltion, instll the
Check Vlve on the vent hole.

DUCTED INSTALLATION
For mximum performnce we recommend
instlling with rigid or semi rigid ducting. Use cble
ties or suitble duct tpe to secure the exible pipe
or ducting to the rngehood duct outlet.
WARNING: All ducting must be re retrdnt.
Depending on your sitution, there re multiple
options for ducting your rngehood, s follows:
Stright up through your tiled or metl roof,
using  roof cowl (not supplied with the
rngehood).
Into your ceiling cvity (where complint with
locl nd ntionl building regultions/codes.
Seek pprovl from the relevnt uthority or
building inspector where necessry.
Into your ceiling cvity nd then vented to the
tmosphere through your eves, using no more
thn 2 × 90 degree bends within the ducting run.
Through your wll.
IMPORTANT: Ducting cn hve  mjor eect on
your rngehoods performnce. The following tips
outline how to correctly duct your rngehood.
Alwys use the correct size ducting.
This rngehood is designed for use with 120mm
ducting to chieve optimum irow performnce
nd minimised noise.
For mximum performnce use semi rigid
or rigid ducting.
Alwys use non-mmble ducting
Alwys duct to the outside tmosphere, unless
your locl building codes nd regultions permit
otherwise.
Where using exible ducting, lwys instll the
ducting pulled tut to minimize pressure loss,
nd cut ny excess ducting o.
Where possible, void using 90 degree bends
nd in their plce use multiple 45 degree bends.
Keep your totl length of ducting to the shortest
length possible.
Ensure there re no kinks in your ducting.
Use cylindricl ducting whenever possible.
POSITIONING THE RANGEHOOD
NOTE: When the rngehood nd pplince
supplied with energy other thn electricity re
simultneously in opertion, the negtive pressure
in the room must be not exceed 4 P (4 × 10-5 Br).
IMPORTANT: The height of the rngehood
underside must be  minimum of 650mm* to 
mximum 750mm from the top of your cooktop
surfce (for gs cooktops this is the top of the
gs burner).
* If the instlltion instructions for your cooktop
specify  greter distnce thn the minimum, then
tht shll be the minimum height for instlltion.

INSTALLATION STEPS
NOTE: Do not connect the power cble until the instlltion is complete!
Alwys perform instlltion with two people to void injuries.
The typicl instlltion method for your Estto xed rngehood is into
 purpose built cupbord or by wll mounting.
CUPBOARD MOUNTING INSTALLATION
Crete the required holes for your xed rngehood.
IMPORTANT: It is not necessry to drill the 130mm dimeter hole if your rngehood
is to be congured using the recirculting ir method.
1. Drill  hole with  130mm dimeter nd four 3.5mm dimeter holes
s per the mesures dimensions in Figure 6.
2. Insert the rngehood into the cbinet.
Plese ensure the exible clips on both sides re xed onto the cbinet.
3. Use the 4 screws to x the rngehood to  kitchen cupbord.
Check tht your xings re correctly locted, by temporrily tting the rngehood.
If correct, t the unit into position.
4. Tighten the screws s necessry.
WARNING: Filure to instll the screws or xing device in ccordnce
