Aastra 5370 Quick user guide
To Make a Call :
To End a Call :
Pick up the handset and press 9 followed by the number.
Alternatively, to make a hands free call, press 9 followed b the
number and then press the Set Call button.
To End a call, press the End Key (or replace the handset)
To Transfer a Call :
With your call, press the Fox Bar under the word “Enquiry”, this puts
the call on hold and your caller cannot hear you. Now enter the
extension number.
Once answered, announce the call then hang-up.
Alternatively, to transfer the call, instead of replacing the handset you
can press the End Key. This puts the call through silently.
To Return to Caller :
If there is no answer, you no longer wish to speak to your colleague
or you want to exit from their voicemail, press the Fox Bar under the
word “End Call” and you will return to your caller.
To Toggle between Caller and Extension
:
To switch back and forth between two calls, press the Fox Bar under
the word “Broker”.
You can keep doing this for as many times as you wish to switch.
To Park (Hold) a Call :
You will only use this facility if you want to hold a call
in order to take another call
Press the Fox Bar under the word “Park”. You will notice that the
screen now has [P] in the display.
This means the call is now parked (on Hold) and you can replace your
handset.
To Return to Parked (Held) Call :
Do not pick up the handset. Press the Fox Bar under the [P]
Your call is now retrieved from Park (Hold). Now pick up the handset
to speak to your caller.
To Use Microphone Key (Secrecy) :
If you would like to mute your voice during a call, press the
Microphone button.
To speak to your caller, press the Microphone button again.
To use Re-dial :
Without picking up the handset first, press the Redial Key and the first
number on the last number redial list will be displayed.
Press the Redial Key several times or press the Navigation Key until
the desired number is highlighted, pick up the handset and you will
be redialling the number.
To Divert (Forward) All Calls :
To Remove the Divert :
With your handset in the cradle, dial the number where you would
like all your calls diverted. Now press the Absence button.
You will now notice that the Absence key has been lit up and you will
see confirmation of your divert (forward) on screen.
With the handset in the cradle, press the Absence button.
You will notice the Absence button is no longer lit and the phone
returns to the idle state.
To Make a Conference Call :
Either make the first call yourself in the normal way or with your
caller press the Fox Bar under the word “Enquiry”. This will put your
first party on hold.
Now dial your second party, when they answer, announce they are
going to be part of a 3 party conference and then press the Fox Bar
under the “more options” icon. Then press under the word “Conf”.
You are now in a 3 party conference. You can have up to and
including 6 parties in a conference by adding them in exactly the
same way as above.
To record your voicemail:
Press the foxkey underneath MENU, and then navigate to voicemail
on the next screen select VOICEMAIL
You have 3 available greetings, select greeting 1 and press Record
Once you have finished recording press STOP.
To listen to a voicemail message:
If you have received a voicemail at your phone press LISTEN, the
message will be played in full.
During your message
Press to skip to the next message
Press to repeat the current message
Press to delete the current messge
Note:
You can not delete a message that you have not listened to fully.
TIP:
Pressing REPEAT after listening for 2 seconds will allow you to DELETE
the new message.
