Instructions
To Clean the Drip Tray
• After each use, remove the drip tray and wash in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry
thoroughly with a clean, soft dry cloth.
To Clean the Exterior
• Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly with a soft dry cloth.
NOTE: Do not immerse any part of the Burger Maker in water or any other liquid
apart from when cleaning the drip tray.
STORAGE
•
Before storage, ensure that the Burger Maker is switched off by turning off at the
power outlet and then removing the plug from the power outlet. Ensure the Burger
Maker is completely cool, clean and dry.
• Do not place anything on top of the Burger Maker during storage.
WARNING
• Place the Burger Maker on a clean, flat, level heat-resistant surface.
• Position the appliance at a minimum distance of 20cm away from walls, curtains
and other heat or steam sensitive materials and provide adequate space above and
on all sides for air circulation
• Do not place the Burger Maker near the edge of a bench or table during operation.
• During use, ensure there is sufficient air flow around the Burger Maker.
• Do not attempt to operate the Burger Maker by any method other than those
described in this booklet.
• Do not use on a sink draining board.
• When operating the Burger Maker ensure the power cord is kept away from any
heat source including the surface of the Burger Maker and does not hang over the
edge of a bench or table. Ensure the power cord does not become trapped between
the lid and base of the Burger Maker.
• Always ensure the Burger Maker is turned off at the mains socket and the cord is
unplugged before moving, cleaning or storing, when not in use, or if left
unattended.
• The Burger Maker is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote control system.
• Do not place anything on top of the Burger Maker when the lid is closed, when in
use and when stored.
• Parts of the Burger Maker become hot during use. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use
the handles to lift and open the top plate until the Burger Maker has cooled
sufficiently.
• Do not use sharp objects or utensils inside the Burger Maker as they may scratch or
damage the interior surfaces.
• Do not operate the Burger Maker continuously for more than 30 minutes.
• Allow the Burger Maker to rest for a short time between each use.
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the power cord, power plug or
appliance in water or any other liquid.
• The unit is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance, by
a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the unit.
• Check the Burger Maker for damage before each use. Do not use the unit if the
power supply cord, plug, connector or appliance becomes damaged in anyway.
• No user serviceable parts.
• For indoor domestic use only.
• Always turn the unit to the OFF position, switch off at the power outlet and unplug
at the power outlet when the unit is not in use.
DISPOSAL
• Dispose of all paper, cartons and plastic in accordance with your local recycling
regulations. At the end of the product’s lifespan please dispose of it at an
authorised household waste recycling centre.
