The Bogen RPK86RPKUTI1 provides an interface between Bogen RP and RC intercom systems and associated RCU or I/O Series control panels. It allows third-party devices such as door access panels, security panels, and other contact closure devices to initiate pre-recorded and live intercom announcements from the connected Bogen units. The RPK86RPKUTI1 can also be used to trigger external devices such as strobes, sirens, or door strikes from the Bogen intercom system.

The Bogen RPK86RPKUTI1 provides an interface between Bogen RP and RC intercom systems and associated RCU or I/O Series control panels. It allows third-party devices such as door access panels, security panels, and other contact closure devices to initiate pre-recorded and live intercom announcements from the connected Bogen units. The RPK86RPKUTI1 can also be used to trigger external devices such as strobes, sirens, or door strikes from the Bogen intercom system.

General
The RVCP fits in a standard single gang electrical box and may be installed using the
included hardware. Be sure to make all electrical connections prior to installing the
RVCP into an electrical box.
Electrical Connections
Minimum 24-gauge, 3 conductor wire is recommended. Maximum wire length run of
2,000 feet.
Connect similarly labeled terminals on the Bogen amplifier or control unit and RVCP
together. UP to UP, Common (C) to Common (C), and down (DN) to down (DN).
DAISY-CHAINING
Multiple RVCP’s can be daisy-chained from control panel to control panel for multi-
ple locations. Parallel like labeled terminals on each RVCP together.
Orientation
Make certain that the RVCP is in the proper orientation when it is installed.The arrow
on the back should be pointing up towards the ceiling.
