a. Using a pry bar, remove and discard crate top
and sides.
b. Remove plastic bag from around unit and
discard.
a. Rotate steering control levers (item 2) outward.
a. Rotate seat (item 1) forward.
WARNING: AVOID INJURY. Read and
understand the Safety section in the
Operator’s Manual before proceeding.
DO NOT start engine until assembly is
complete.

CAUTION: AVOID INJURY. Small wood
splinters can eject when breaking crate.
Wear adequate eye protection and gloves.

a. Remove plastic boot from negative battery
terminal and discard.
b. Remove hardware from negative (black) battery
cable. DO NOT discard hardware.
c. Secure negative battery cable to negative (open)
battery terminal with hardware removed in
previous step.
a. Rotate seat into operating position.
a. Rotate steering control levers into operating
position.
a. Pull left and right transaxle bypass lever (item 6)
out to disengage transaxles.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to pull bypass levers out on each
side of unit.

a. Release parking brake (item 4).
a. Slowly push unit off crate pallet.
b. Discard pallet.
a. Lift discharge chute (item 5) up slightly and
rotate down into operating position.
a. Engage parking brake.

a. Push right and left transaxle bypass levers in to
engage transaxles.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to push bypass levers in on each
side of unit.
a. Rotate left and right eccentric spacers to align
steering levers to the same height and tighten
left and right hardware.
b. Loosen hardware retaining each steering control
lever to each lower control arm (item 3), align
steering control levers and tighten hardware.
