fusebox before starting and during the installation.

1) Passxturewirethroughdesiredamountofstems[1]and

screwstemstogetherusingsuppliedshortthreadedtubes[2].

2) Passxturewirefromthecouplingontopofxturethrough

endofstem[2].Threadendofstemontoxturebody.NOTE:

Threadlockingcompoundmustbeappliedtoallstemthreads

asnotedwitharrowsymboltopreventaccidentalrotationof

xtureduringcleaning,relamping,etc.

3) Passxturewirethroughdesiredstemsandscrewstems

together

4) Threadonesmallthreadedpipe[12]intoendofloop[13].

5) Passxturewirethroughloop.Threadloopontoendoflast

stem.

6) Takeathreadedpipe[7]frompartsbagandscrewinscrew

collarloop[10]aminimumof6mm(1/4”).Lockintoplacewith

hexnut[8].

7) Runanotherhexnutdownthreadedpipealmosttouching

rsthexnut.Nowscrewthreadedpipeintomountingstrap[3].

Mountingstrapmustbepositionedwithextrudedthreadfaced

intooutletbox[6].Threadedpipemustprotrudeoutthebackof

mountingstrap.Screwthirdhexnutontoendofthreadedpipe

protrudingfrombackofmountingstrap.

8) Connectmountingstraptooutletboxusingstrapmounting

screws[5].

9) Unscrewthethreadedringfromscrewcollarloop[10].Take

canopy[4]andpassoverscrewcollarloop.Approximately

onehalfofthescrewcollarloopexteriorthreadsshouldbe

exposed.Adjustscrewcollarloopbyturningassemblyupor

downinmountingstrap.Removecanopy.

10)Afterdesiredpositionisfound,tightenbothtopandbottom

hexnutsupagainstthebottomandtopofthemountingstrap.

11)Slipcanopyoverscrewcollarloopandthreadonthreadedring.

Attachchain[11](withxtureconnected)tobottomofscrew

collarloop.Unscrewthreadedring[9],letcanopyandthreaded

ringslipdown.(Closechainlinkendstogetherusingchainpli-

ersorpaddedplierstopreventdamagetonish.)

12)Weaveelectricalwireandgroundwirethroughchainlinks[11]

nomorethan3inchesapart.Passwirethroughthreadedring,

canopy,screwcollarloop,threadedpipeandintooutletbox.

13)Groundinginstructions:(SeeIllus.AorB).

 A) Onxtureswheremountingstrapisprovidedwitha 

holeandtworaiseddimples.Wrapgroundwirefrom 

outletboxaroundgreengroundscrew,andthreadinto 

hole.

 B) Onxtureswhereacuppedwasherisprovided.Attach

groundwirefromoutletboxundercuppedwasherand

greengroundscrew,andthreadintomountingstrap.

 Ifxtureisprovidedwithgroundwire.Connectxtureground

wiretooutletboxgroundwirewithwireconnectorafterfollow-

ingtheabovesteps.Neverconnectgroundwiretoblackor

whitepowersupplywires.

relamping,etc.

3) Pase el cable del accesorio a través de los tallos deseados y

lostallosdeltornillojuntos.

4) Enrosqueuntuboroscadopequeño[12]enelextremodel

lazo[13].

5) Pasar el cable del accesorio a través del lazo. Enhebre el lazo

enelextremodelúltimotallo.

6) Tomeeltuboroscado[7]delabolsadepartesyenrosque

enelojaldelcollarroscado[10]unmínimode6mm(1/4”).

Asegúreloensulugarconunatuercahexagonal[8].

7) Coloqueotratuercahexagonaleneltuboroscadocasitocan-

dolaprimera.Ahoraenrosqueeltuboroscadoenlaabraza-

derademontaje[3].Laabrazaderademontajedebeestar

colocadaconlaroscaextruidamirandoalacajadesalida[6].

Eltuboroscadodebesobresalirdeatrásdelaabrazaderade

montaje.Enrosquelaterceratuercahexagonalenelextremo

deltuboroscadoquesobresaledeatrásdelaabrazaderade

montaje.

8) Conectelaabrazaderademontajealacajadesalida[5].

9) Desenrosque el anillo roscado[10]delojaldecollarroscado.

Tomeelescudete[4]ypáselosobreelojaldecollarroscado.

Aproximadamentelamitaddelasroscasexternasdelojalde

collarroscadodebenserexpuestas.Ajusteelojaldecollar

roscadogirandoelensamblajehaciaarribaohaciaabajoenla

abrazaderademontaje.Remuevaelescudete.

10)Despuésdehaberencontradolaposicióndeseada,aprietela

tuercahexagonaldearribaydeabajocontralaparteinferiory

superiordelaabrazaderademontaje.

11)Desliceelescudetesobreelojaldecollarroscadoyenrosque

enelanilloroscado.Fijelacadena[13](conelartefac-

toconectado)alaparteinferiordelojaldecollarroscado.

Desenrosque el anillo roscado[9],dejequeelescudeteyel

anilloroscadosedeslicenhaciaabajo.

12) Entrelace el alambre eléctrico y el alambre de tierra a través

delosacoplamientosdelacadena[11]. Enhebre el cable a

travésdelanilloroscado,elrefuerzo,elojalroscadodelcollar,

eltuboroscadoyenlacajadesalida.

13)Instruccionesparaponeratierra:(VerIlustracionesAoB).

 A) Enartefactosdondesesuministralaabrazaderade 

montajeconunagujeroydosdepresionesonduladas. 

Envuelvaelconductordetierradelacajadesalidaalrede-

dordeltornillodetierraverdeyatornilleenelagujero.

 B) Enartefactosdondesesuministraunaarandela

  cóncava.Fijeelconductordetierradelacajadesalida

 debajodelaarandelacóncavayeltornillodetierra 

 verdeyenrosqueenlaabrazaderademontaje.

 Sisesuministraelartefactoconconductordetierra.Conecte

elconductordetierradelartefactoalconductordetierrade

lacajadesalidaconconectordetierradespuésdeseguirlos

pasosanteriores.Nuncaconecteelconductordetierraalos

alambresdealimentacióneléctricanegrosoblancos.
