Slim 2020AF uses an optical auto-focus lens, provides real-time sharp

and clear image quality. No matter how far you sit from the screen, you

are always in focus.

Slim 2020AF supports UVC (USB Video Class) which can plug and play

in Windows XP SP2, Vista or above OS without a device driver

installed.

1. Make sure your PC OS system is Windows XP SP2, Vista or above.

2. Position the webcam and connect the USB cable to an available

USB port on your computer. Windows automatically detects the

device.

3. Now Slim 2020AF is ready for running with any application. The

web camera can work properly with any video chat software that

supports a video feature.

4. In Windows Vista:

You can use Genius application software to capture a real-time image,

record or execute the simple security function. The Snapshot function

will work in the Genius application software.

5. In Windows XP SP2:

a. Double-click the My Computer icon.

Alternatively, click Start My Computer.

b. Select “USB Video Device” and double-click, and the video

appears on the screen automatically.

NOTE

 To check if Windows XP system is SP2 (Service Pack 2).

− Click the My Computer icon on your desktop or in the Windows

Start menu.

− When the menu that appears, click Properties.

 If your Windows XP system isn’t SP2 (Service Pack 2), go to the

website: http://microsoft.com

to upgrade your version.

You can use Genius WebCAM Mate software to capture the

real-time image, record or execute the simple security function.

NOTE

 After installing the Genius Application software, the system will

automatically create a file (C:\WINDOWS\Album or

C:\WINNT\Album)to save the images you take using the Genius

Application.

 Genius application available in windows Vista/XP/2000.

Property page allows user to adjust a person like property of the webcam.

-Video Proc Amp

Item Description

Brightness enables you to adjust the brightness of the displayed

image or video to suit your own preference.

Contrast enables you to control the ratio between dark and light

according to your own preference.

Hue is any color in the rainbow that you choose to pick.

Saturation enables you to set the color reproduction from black

and white to a full color image or video according to your own

preference.

Sharpness can soften and sharpen images to achieve different

effects.

Gamma enables you to brighten dark areas within the displayed

image or video and visualize more details without over-exposing

already light areas.

Turn on the backlight compensation to improve the image quality

when you have a scene where the background has a high

illumination level (for instance when you are sitting in front of a

bright light).

Select the correct frequency according to the country where you

are using the web camera. (* )

* : This function not available in windows XP SP2 (Service Pack 2).

Enable Auto Focus function provides real-time sharp and clear

image quality. No matter how far you sit from the screen, you

always bring in focus. Use the slider to find manual focus setting.

Adding Frame

Select photo frame to add inside still

Tracking Face

Click this button, and the screen will

auto appear in the center of the frame.

When you are watching the display,

your face should appear in the acquired

image. In an auto stereoscopic display,

the image will auto digital zoom.

Rotate

Rotate still image 45 degrees counter-

clockwise. (*)

Multi-shot

Select multi-shot number from 2 to 10.

Full Screen

seconds.

4. Security Mode

Using motion detection function, it records any movements that appear

in front of your monitor automatically. It can also record anytime until

the HD is full. If there’s no movement, it will shut down automatically

after four seconds or otherwise it will be active when detecting new

movement.

1. You can create your own customized security by face recognition.

2. Click WebCam Selection. The Open dialog box appears. Select the web

camera device.

password, then click ok button.

4. This program needs taking ten pictures for recognition. Please wait for

around 1~2 mines to finish face recognition.
