 Cut the power supply off before operating the device to avoid damage caused

by mis-operation.

 Interior of the PTZ camera are precision optical and electrical instruments.

Heavy pressure, shock and other incorrect operations should be prevented.

Otherwise, may cause damage to product.

the maximum specified temperature, humidity or power supply specifications.

 The default factory address code is No. 1. The automatic recognition

communication protocols are PELCO-D and PELCO-P. The automatic

recognition baud rate are 2400 bps, 4800 bps, 9600 BPS and 19200 bps.

Installation environment

Installation environment requirements

Do not use in humid or high temperature environment, pay attention to keep good

ventilation, avoid installation in the environment of severe vibration, as far as possible away

from heating devices.

Recommended using environment

Temperature：-30 ÷ +60 °C

Humidity ：0% ÷ 90% RH (not condensing)

Installation Steps

Before installing the smart PTZ camera, we hope you have confirmed that your control

keyboard and monitor are working properly. After confirming that your device system is in

good condition, please follow the following steps and keep your hands clean and dry.

 Open the packing box and check the integrity of the goods.

 Remove all items needed for installation

 Connect relevant cables (power supply, control linear, alarm linear, etc.)

according to actual needs

 Turn on the power supply

Note：

 Please check carefully when unpacking the box to make sure that the items in

it are in accordance with the list.

 Please read the user manual carefully before installation.

 When installing the camera, be sure to turn off all the power supply.

 Check the power supply voltage to prevent device damage caused by voltage

mismatch

Operation method

The PTZ camera can be connected with keyboard device through RS485. The camera can

be remotely controlled by moving up and down, moving left and right, and zooming lens.

General functions

4.1 Up and down, left and right moving functions

Up, down, left and right can be controlled by rocker. The speed of rocker control is

changeable. The bigger the angle of inclination, the faster the speed of movement. The

position diagram of rocker handle is shown in Figure 4-1-1.

4.2 Lens control

Change the camera's field of view (zoom in and zoom out) press [TELE] or [WIDE].

4.3 Basic operation of main menu

（1）“95+CALL” enters the camera main menu.

（2） The rocker handle moves up and down to see the menu bar pointed by the cursor; the

rocker handle moves right to enter the sub-menu of the item where the cursor is located or to

enter the function of the item where the cursor is located; the rocker handle moves left (or

executes the "Back" menu item) to return to the previous menu.

（3）If the cursor is in the selection state of the current menu item, moving the rocker up or

down can change the current selection, and moving the rocker left or right can exit the current

selection and save the current selection.

（4）If the menu item where the cursor is located has a subordinate menu, press [OPEN] to

enter the subordinate menu.

（5）Press [CLOSE] (or execute the "Exit” menu item) to close the menu.

Tip: The menu structure of the PTZ camera is shown in the menu index.

1 Menu settings

After the machine is installed and powered on, the PTZ camera will be self-checked, and

the screen will display boot information, as shown in Figure 1-0-0.

Explanation: When the PTZ camera is set up differently, the specific values of each item

will also be different. This prompt will disappear until the PTZ camera has completed self-

examination. Note: Only when the system display function is turned on in the menu, will

display the boot information.

Enter the main menu: Set the 95 preset point first and then calling the 95 preset point.

1.1 System information

In the menu of Figure 5-0-1, move the rocker up and down so that the cursor points to the

system information, and then move the rocker to the right to display the system information,

as shown in Figure 5-1-1.

settings, and then move the rocker to the right to enter PTZ settings menu, as shown in

1-2-2 Display settings

In the menu of Figure 1-2-1, move the rocker up and down so that the cursor points to

the display settings, and then move the rocker to the right to enter the display settings menu.

① Boot information display: on and off optional, default is on. When set to turn on, when

the PTZ camera is powered on, the boot information is displayed.

② PTZ camera function display: on and off optional, default is off. When set to turn on, the

PTZ camera displays the type and number of the current scan when it is running.

③ PTZ camera coordinate display: on and off optional, default is on. When set to turn on,

the screen displays the horizontal and vertical position angle of the current PTZ, i.e.

④ Presets display: on and off optional, default is off. When set to turn on, the PTZ camera

displays the name of the current preset point when running the preset point.

⑤ Privacy mask settings :default is off, calling the menu, go into the menu interface, open

the privacy mask block, set the size of the privacy mask block, click zoom +-, focus +-.

⑥ Back: returns the interface for setting privacy masks.

⑦ Exit: close the interface for setting privacy masks.

1-2-3 Intelligent scan settings

In Figure 1-2-1, move the rocker up and down so that the cursor points to the intelligent

scan settings, and then move the rocker to the right to enter the intelligent scan settings menu.

moves up and down to select the starting position, and then clicks ［CLOSE］ to finish the

editing of the starting point. The same method is used to set the end position. Press

［CLOSE］to save the linear scan settings and return to the linear scan settings menu.

III Speed: 1-9 optional, default is 9. 1 is the minimum speed, 9 is maximum speed.

IV Range selection: small or large radian optional, default is large radian. When the

camera is set to a large radian, the horizontal trajectory of the camera is the maximum

radian at the starting point and the ending point, that is, the maximum-scale scanning and

monitoring.

V In the menu of Figure 1-2-7, move the rocker up and down to make the cursor point to

calling linear scan, then move the rocker to the right to run the current linear scan, and

move the rocker arbitrarily back to the linear scan settings menu.

VI In the menu of Figure 1-2-7, move the rocker up and down so that the cursor points to

delete the current, and then move the rocker to the right to delete the current linear scan.

② Cruise scan settings: in Figure 1-2-8, move the rocker up and down so that the cursor

points to the cruise scan settings, and then move the rocker to the right to enter the

cruise scan settings menu, as shown in Figure 1-2-8.

cruises, then move to the right to enters the editing cruise interface, as shown in Figure 1-

Description: 20 preset points can be selected for each group cruise. Each group of

cruises can set the running speed between preset points, the speed can be selected from 1-

10 levels, 1 level is the minimum speed, 10 level is the maximum speed; the running time

interval between preset points can be set, the time interval can be set to 1-255 seconds.

Operation instructions: in the editing cruise interface, move the cursor up and down to

select the Preset point number needed. Move the rocket to the left to exit without to save.

When the cursor is at the Preset point selection item, move the rocker to the right to select the

speed between the preset points. Move the rocker up and down to select the required speed

level. When the cursor is at the desired running speed, move the rocker to the right to select

the time interval between the preset points. Move the rocker up and down to select the

required time interval. Move the rocket to the right to save the settings and exits the selection

status.

III In Figure 1-2-8, move the rocker up and down. When the cursor points to start cruise,

move the rocker to the right to start the cruise scan, and move the rocker arbitrarily to go

back to the cruise scan settings menu.

IV In Figure 1-2-8, move the rocker up and down to the cursor points to delete the

current. Move the rocker to the right to delete the current cruise scan.

③ Pattern scan settings: in Figure 1-2-3, move the rocker up and down to point the cursor

at pattern scan settings, and then move the rocker to the right to enter the pattern scan

settings menu, as shown in Figure 1-2-10.

I No.: 1-4 optional. PTZ camera can set 4 groups pattern scan. Patterns scan realizes

recording and playback of arbitrary trajectory, and its recording parameters include

horizontal speed, vertical speed and zoom multiples. Each pattern can record 500

commands.

II In the menu of Figure 1-2-10, move the rocker up and down so that the cursor points

to the set pattern, and then move the rocker to the right to enter the set pattern state. Move

the rocker up and down and left and right to control the camera to rotate horizontally and

vertically, and change the camera magnification according to [WIDE], [TEIE]. The PTZ

camera records the trajectory of the camera and the camera zoom information in real time.

Press ［CLOSE］ to save the pattern scanning settings and return to the pattern scanning

settings menu.

III In Figure 1-2-10, move the rocker up and down to point the cursor at calling pattern,

then move the rocker to the right to run the pattern scan, and move the rocker arbitrarily

back to the pattern scan settings menu.

IV In Figure 1-2-10, move the rocker up and down so that the cursor points to delete

current pattern, and then move the rocker to the right to delete the current pattern scan.

④ Group scan settings: in Figure 1-2-3, move the rocker up and down so that the cursor

points to the group scan settings and then move the rocker to the right to enter the

group scan settings menu, as shown in Figure 1-2-11.

II In Figure 1-2-11, move the rocker up and down so that the cursor points to the editing

group, and then move the rocker to the right to enter the editing group interface, as shown

in Figure 1-2-12.

Description: 16 scan members can be selected for each group. Each group can realize

any combination of presets, linear scan, cruise scan and pattern scan. By adding all kinds of

scans to the group list in order, can be monitored according to the scan type in the group list.

Edit the “types” in the group interface: including presets, linear scans, cruise scan and pattern

scan. “No.” refers to number scan of the corresponding selected type. “Time” refers to the

running interval of two scans, with an option of 1-255 seconds.

Operational instructions: in the editing group interface, move the cursor up and down to

select the Scan number needed, Move the rocket to the left to exit without to save. When the

cursor is at the type selection item, move the rocker to the right to select the no. item. Move

the rocker up and down to select the type no. When the cursor is at the type selection item,

group then move the rocker to the right to run the group scan, and move the rocker

arbitrarily back to the group scan settings menu.

IV In Figure 1-2-11, move the rocker up and down so that the cursor points to delete the

current, and then move the rocker to the right to delete the current group scan.

⑤ Continuous scan settings: in Figure 1-2-3, move the rocker up and down to make the

cursor point to the continuous scan settings, and then move the rocker to the right to

enter the continuous scan settings menu, as shown in Figure 1-2-13.

I No.: 1-4 optional. The PTZ camera can set four groups continuous scan. Continuous

scan realizes 360 degree horizontal continuous monitoring, in which the horizontal

movement speed can be set and the elevation angle can be set. After power failure, restart

the elevation angle before power failure.

II Speed: 1-10 optional, default is 9. 1 level is minimum speed, 10 level is maximum

speed.

III In the menu of Figure 1-2-13, move the rocker up and down to point cursor to

continuous scan settings, and then move the rocker to the right to enter setting continuous

scan status. Move the rocker up and down to control the vertical position of the camera.

Press ［CLOSE］ to save the Continuous Scan Settings and return to the Continuous

Scan Settings Menu.

IV In Figure 1-2-13, move the rocker up and down to make the cursor point to calling

continuous scan, then move the rocker to the right to run continuous scan, and move the

In Figure 1-2-1, move the rocker up and down to point the cursor at the control settings,

I Action type: this option is to set power on action type. Presets, linear scan, cruise scan,

I Time: set idle action time, the time can be selected: 1-720 mins. The default idle time is

one minute.

II Action type: this option is to set the type of idle action. Presets, linear scan, cruise scan,

pattern scan, group scan, continuous scan and interval scan optional, default is no action.

The PTZ camera executes idle actions without receiving valid commands during the set

idle time.

III Action No.: this item selects the number of the action type for the above action type.

When the selected item is "---", the current action type has no optional number, that is, the

current action number cannot be set.

③ Speed Limit: also known as proportional variation .On or off, default is on. When set to

turn on, the PTZ camera automatically adjusts the horizontal and vertical rotational

speed of the camera according to the distance of the focal length, which makes it easier

to track the target manually.

④ Automatic flip function: on or off, default is on. When set to open, the operator pulls the

lens to the bottom (vertical) and then holds the rocker. At this time, the lens

automatically rotates 180 degrees horizontally and then flips 90 degrees upward. It can

directly see the scenery on the back, thus realizing the continuous monitoring of 180

degrees longitudinally.

⑤ Horizontal reverse: on or off, default is off. When set to open, the rocker left and right

movement command will carry out direction processing, that is, the original right

movement command will become the left movement command, and the left movement

command will become the right movement command.

⑥ Vertical reverse: on or off, default is off. When set to open, the rocker up and down

movement command will carry out direction processing, that is to say, the original

rocker up movement command will become the down movement command, and the

down movement command will become the up movement command.

⑦ Manual operation speed: 1-10 level optional, default speed is 10 level. Level 1 is the

lowest speed for manual operation, and level 10 is the highest speed for manual

operation.

1-2-5 PTZ camera address

In Figure 1-2-1, move the rocker up and down so that the cursor points to the PTZ

camera address settings, and then move the rocker to the right to enter the PTZ camera

address settings menu. As shown in Figure 1-2-17.

1-2-6 Alarm settings

In Figure 1-2-1, move the rocker up and down so that the cursor points to the alarm

① No.: this item is the choice of alarm input port, which can choose port 1 and port 2. That

is, the PTZ camera has 2CH alarm input. Each channel alarm input can set different

linkage actions, different types of alarm input, can choose whether to output alarm. One

channel alarm output responds to two-channel alarm input. Alarm output type and alarm

output time can be set.

② Alarm linkage settings: in Figure 1-2-18, move the rocker up and down to make the

cursor point to the alarm linkage settings, and then move the rocker to the right to enter

the alarm linkage settings menu. As shown in Figure 1-2-19.

I Action type: this option is to set the type of alarm linkage action. Preset point, linear

scan, cruise scan, pattern scan, group scan, continuous scan and interval scan optional.

Default type is no action.

II Action No.: this item chooses the number of the action type for the above action type.

③ Input type: normal open or normal close, default is normal open.

⑤ Alarm output time: 1-255 seconds is optional, default is 5 seconds

⑥ Alarm output: on or off optional, default is off. When the alarm output is set to open, if

there is an alarm input, the alarm signal will be output and the alarm device, such as the

alarm bell, will be activated.

⑦ In Figure 1-2-18, move the rocker up and down so that the cursor points to delete the

current, and then move the rocker to the right to delete the current alarm settings.

1-2-7 IR light settings

In Figure 1-2-1, move the rocker up and down so that the cursor points to the IR light

settings, and then move the rocker to the right to enter the IR light settings menu. Figure 1-2-

20 shows.

① IR light: auto, manual and off optional, default is auto. When set to auto, the PTZ

camera can automatically turn on or off the required IR lights according to the

environment illumination and the camera multiples. The following three menu items can

be controlled only when the IR light is set to be manual.

② Close range IR light: when the IR light is set to manual mode, the close range IR light

can be set to turn on or off manually. When the IR light is set to auto or off mode, the

menu item is uncontrollable and the menu selection item shows "---".

③ Medium range IR light: when the IR light is set to manual mode, the medium range IR

light can be set to turn on or off manually. When the IR light is set to auto or off mode,

the menu item is uncontrollable and the menu selection item shows "---".

④ Far range IR light: when the IR light is set to manual mode, the far range IR light can be

set to turn on or off manually. When the IR light is set to auto or off mode, the menu

item is uncontrollable and the menu selection item shows "---".

1.3 Camera settings

In the menu of Figure 1-0-1, move the rocker up and down to point the cursor at the

camera settings, and then move the rocker to the right to enter the main menu of camera

settings, as shown in Figure 1-3-1. Because the operation mode of main menu of PTZ camera

is different from camera setting menu, the operation mode of camera menu is explained here.

1.3.2 White balance settings

White balance: auto tracking white balance, manual, auto white balance →SET, outdoor,

indoor, MERCURY optional, default is auto tracking white balance.

Option Description:

① Auto tracking white balance: the camera automatically sets the value of camera white

balance according to the current environment.

② Manual: press [OPEN] to enter and manually set the red and blue values to set the

white balance value of the camera color image.

③ Auto white balance →SET: in the case of complex light environment, a white paper is

placed in front of the lens, and the image is displayed on a full screen. Press [OPEN],

the camera will set the baselinear value of automatic white balance according to the

current environment.

④ Indoor: according to the indoor environment, the range of color temperature is 2300-

10500K Outdoor: according to the outdoor environment, the range of color temperature

is 1700-11000K.

⑤ MERCURY: This is an automatic compensation function to optimize the color of the

camera in special environments, such as mercury lighting environment. The range of

color temperature is 2400-11000K.
