Please review this manual before using your SW20 Smart
Watch.
1. Safety Warning
The information in this document won't be modified or extended in accordance with any
notice.
The watch should be charged at least 2 hours prior to use.
2. Product details:
2.1 Smart watch components
Power button: Power On/OffTurn on/off screen Return to main menu
USB port: Charging; Data sync;
2.2 Quick Overview
You can view the next page by sliding the screen up or down. You can view the clock display by
swiping left on the main menu; return to the screen you were viewing by swiping left or right again.
Swipe right to return to the previous page you were viewing in any application. Enter notification
board by selecting the notification app displayed by a message and exclamation point icon.
2.3 Clock Display
Design selection:
When in clock display, press and hold the screen until the design selection prompt shows, then scroll
left or right to select the design you prefer and select "OK".
2.4 Wallpaper settings
To change the wallpaper: Open the theme settings app displayed by a paintbrush icon then select
the theme you prefer.
3. Use Instructions
3.1 Bluetooth Connection Tips
In order to avoid connection issues when connecting your smart watch to a mobile device,
place the devices in close proximity to each other.
Ensure that your watch and the other Bluetooth device are within the Bluetooth connection
range (15-30 feet). The distance may vary depending on the environment the devices are
used in. If there are obstacles between the devices, the operating distance may be reduced.
You can only perform one Bluetooth connection at a time.
Bluetooth uses the same frequency as some industrial, scientific, medical, and low power
products; interference may occur when near these types of products.
Always ensure that you share and receive data with devices that are trusted and properly
secured.
Some devices, especially those that are not tested or approved by the Bluetooth Special
Interest Group, may be incompatible with your smart watch.
3.2 Enable Bluetooth Notifications
Downloading the application:
For Android or IOS:
Install the Mediatek SmartDevice App (Search Google Play or the App Store) on your mobile
device and connect the watch using Bluetooth.
Using the QR bar code to download the app:
You can scan the following QR codes to be directed to the application.
Android IOS
1. Install the application on your mobile device and open it.
2. At this point if your watch is already connected to your mobile device via Bluetooth, you
must restart the connection by disconnecting the watch and then reconnecting it. This will
refresh the new updated settings.
3. On your mobile device, activate Bluetooth and (for android) select "Make device visible".
Select Bluetooth settings on your SW20 Smart Watch and select "Search new device".
Select your Smartphone then ensure that the pairing password is identical on your SW20
and Smartphone. Authorize connection between your Smartphone and allow your
smartwatch to view contacts and other information for more features.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions on your mobile device.
5. You can adjust the watch’s configuration in the application.
6. Connection methods may vary depending on the type of device and the device’s software
version.
7. Once the watch is connected to your mobile device and the app is installed, all new
notifications should appear on your watch.
3.3 Using the touch screen
Use only fingers to use the touch screen.
Do not allow the touch screen to come into contact with other electrical devices.
Electrostatic discharges can cause the touch screen to malfunction.
To avoid damaging the touch screen, do not tap it with anything sharp or apply excessive
pressure.
The watch may not recognize touch inputs close to the edges of the screen as they are
outside of the touch input area.
Leaving the touch screen idle for extended periods may result in afterimages (screen
burn-in) or ghosting. We advise you turn off the touch screen when the watch is not in use.
3.4 Basic functions
Bluetooth
You can turn the Bluetooth and visibility settings on/off by going to Main Menu > Settings> BT
settings. You can also select devices to pair with from your watch by going to the BT connection app
displayed by a Bluetooth icon.
SMS Messages
Connect your watch to Bluetooth and use the watch to send, receive, and view messages. You can
view this section by pressing the message icon.
Call Logs
You can check your phone call logs after you connect to your mobile device via Bluetooth.
All records including missed calls, dialed calls, and receive call are provided; You can view the call
details such as date, time, and phone number of each call after selecting it. This application is
opened by selecting the green phone icon.
Phone calls
You can initiate calls and dial numbers by using the BT dialer when your mobile device is connected
or a SIM card is inserted. You can also make calls via the contacts which can either be stored on the
watch or synced with your phone and accessed under the BT tab in the contact book. You can speak
to the other person directly from the watch with its built in speaker and microphone.
Incoming call notification
The watch will ring when incoming call comes through. The call can be accepted by swiping the
green icon right or denied by swiping the red icon left.
Alarm
Set reminders for once, daily, or certain days of the weeks at whichever hour you choose. The Alarm
can be set by selecting the Alarm app which is displayed as a clock face icon.
Calendar
Schedule future events and reminders with the calendar application, displayed by a calendar icon.
Anti lost
When the Bluetooth connection gets disconnected, your watch will inform you of this to prevent
you from leaving your mobile device behind. You can also manually enable the "Find my Device"
application which will cause your phone to ring. This app is displayed by the Smartphone and
magnifying glass icon. If your smart watch is missing, pressing "Find Device" on the Mediatek
Smartdevice app home screen will make your smart watch ring.
Airplane Mode
Enable or disable airplane mode by pressing the airplane icon and selecting airplane mode or normal
mode.
Stopwatch
The stopwatch tracks time to a tenth of a second. It can be found by pressing the stopwatch icon.
Calculator
This smart watch includes an easily accessible four function calculator for quick calculations. It is
represented by a math symbols icon.
Settings
The settings app enables you to alter various settings on your smart watch including Bluetooth
settings, clock settings, sound settings, and more. This app is represented by the gear icon.
Power Saving
The power saving application automatically enables and disables the necessary settings to extend
battery life. This app can be access by pressing the battery with a leaf icon.
Brightness Settings
The purple half light half dark circle icon displays the brightness settings in which you can alter the
brightness of the smart watch's screen.
Motion Settings
The motion settings give you the ability to enable several features that utilize the watch's movement
such as shake to change page. The motion settings can be accessed by opening the orange vibrating
watch icon.
Voice recorder
Use this application to record voice messages. The sound recorded are stored on the watch. Access
this application by selecting the green microphone icon.
Siri access
You can speak to Siri directly from your smart watch by selecting the red microphone icon.
Camera
Your camera is located at the side of the watch. You can access it by selecting the camera icon.
Pictures are stored in your smart watch.
Video recorder.
The camera can be used to record video as well. You can access this feature by opening the pink
video camera icon. Videos will be stored in the smart watch.
Image viewer
The image viewer displays the pictures stored on your smart watch. It can be opened by selecting the
multicolored flower icon.
Video player
The video player shows videos stored on your smart watch. It can be accessed by selecting the blue
icon with black and white stripes.
Remote camera
Use your phone’s camera to take photos through your watch. To enable this functionality you need
the Mediatek Smartdevice app. Once your phone is connected to your watch via Bluetooth open the
remote camera app represented by a camera with a Bluetooth symbol icon. This allows you to
preview your Smartphone's main camera and take pictures with it from your watch. Pictures will be
saved to your Smartphone.
Audio Player
Use this application to play music stored in the Watch or on your mobile device if it is connected.
You can control music playing on your Smartphone from your watch. It is displayed by the CD icon.
Pedometer
Use this application to count your steps. Also, it keeps track of the distance you have walked and
calories you have burned. If you want return to main menu but keep the pedometer counting during
your exercise, press the power button. This application is displayed by the running person icon.
Sedentary reminder
Use this application to set an interval to remind you to stand up, stretch, and relax during extended
periods sitting down. It is displayed by the sitting person icon.
Sleep monitor
Use this application to monitor your sleep patterns and record how much sleep you get by detecting
body movements while you sleep. You may access this application by selecting the moon and stars
icon.
File manager
The file manager allows you to view the different files stored on your smart watch and some file
directories. You can also format your phone from here to erase any personal information. You can
access the file manager by pressing the folder icon.
4. Common trouble shooting
Please refer to the following common problems and questions. If you have any further questions,
please feel free to contact us.
4.1 Unable to turn on the watch.
Please make sure your watch is charged. Please hold down the power button when turning the watch
on.
4.2 Automatic shutdown
This will usually happen when the watch has a low battery, please connect a charger.
4.3 Unable to charge.
Please verify the USB accessories are functional. You may also try to use a different microUSB
charger.
4.4 No caller ID for incoming calls
When connected to Bluetooth, make sure to first download all your contacts from your phone to
watch by going to the phonebook on the watch and tapping the download icon.
4.5 Sounds problems during calls
This usually happens when you are simply too far from your mobile device. Bluetooth connection
signal may vary depending on your environment. Call quality will also depend on your mobile
network signal.
