Before beginning installation, check the overall condition of the equipment. Remove packing materials, and

examine all components for signs of shipping damage. Any shipping damage is the customer's responsibility

and should be reported immediately to the freight carrier.

Turn off the main panel circuit breaker to the fan before performing any ser-

vice. If Installing Belt Tensioner Kit on an Advantage Fan, proceed to Step 1, if

installing on a Classic Fan go to Step 5 or installing on a Apex Fan go to Step 9.

3) To torque the Belt Tensioner to

the proper setting place a

wrench counter clockwise until

the single mark on one half of the

Belt Tensioner is aligned half way

between marks 2 and 3 on the

opposite half of the Tensioner.

See Figure 3. Hold Tensioner at

this setting and tighten the

1) Mount Belt Tensioner Bracket to the upper

strut assembly above the fan motor using

the existing holes. Bracket should be

strut. See Figure 1A, B. DO NOT

TIGHTEN FASTENERS ON THIS STEP.

2) Mount Belt Tensioner with Pulley to the

Belt Tensioner Bracket using (1)

tighten bolt, to keep Belt Tensioner from

falling off Belt Tensioner Bracket. See

strut assembly above the fan motor using
