Disconnect the negative
battery terminal to prevent an
accidental short circuit.
Remove (2) screws from A/C
vents and remove vents.
See figure A
Lift corners of carpet in center
console and remove (2) screws.
Remove navigation switch
panel/switch mask, exposing (2)
screws on top of radio brackets.
Remove rubber inserts in cup
holders and remove screws.
See figure B
Set parking brake and shifter
selector to drive.
Lift center console up and back.
See figure C
Remove (3) screws from radio
bezel and remove.
Remove (2) screws located on
sides of console to gain access
to radio screws.
Remove (4) screws attaching
radio to dash and remove
carefully.
* Remove obstruction from rear of
dash cavity as shown in figure D

Attach the Pocket Trimplate to
Pocket using (2) #8 x 3/8"
Phillips Pan Head
Screws provided.
See figure A
Align the holes in upper mounting
position of the Brackets to the
holes in the side of the head unit.
Use screws provided with head
unit to secure the Brackets.

Place pocket assembly between
Brackets beneath radio.

Align the mounting holes and
secure pocket assembly to
Brackets using (4) #6 x 1/4"
Phillips Flat Head

Place left Bracket on head
unit(s), align holes and secure
using screws provided with
head unit(s).

border surface at the top.

Locate the factory wiring harness in the
dash. Metra recommends using the proper
mating adapter and making connections
as shown. (Isolate and individually tape
off the ends of any unused wires to
prevent electrical short circuit.)
See figure A
Re-connect the battery terminal and test
the unit for proper operation.
Reassemble dash in the reverse order of
the Dash Disassembly on page 1.
A) Strip wire ends back 1/2"
B) Twist ends together
C) Solder

Mount radio and housing assembly into
dash opening using the (4) screws
removed during disassembly.

Place left Bracket on head
unit(s), align holes and secure
using screws provided with
head unit(s).
