How to log onto the Elpro 245U-E-A Radios
1. Power up the 245U-E-A
2. Open your web browser e.g.
Internet Explorer
3. Type in the IP address of the
Radio into the browser e.g.
192.9.200.74 in this example.
4. If you get a warning message
just click “Continue….”
• NB: Make sure your computer is on the same IP range as
the radio. The default IP range of the radios is 192.168.0.xx
• The default subnet mask is 255.255.255.0
• You should be able to PING the radio from your PC

• On average, you don’t want your channel utilization to be
higher than around 75%
• If you don’t have a lot of traffic on your system, this value
should be relatively low. If it’s high it could indicate the
presence of other interfering systems.

Throughput Testing
• A low throughput can be an indication of either a busy
channel or low signal strength
• Always test throughput on an idle channel where possible
Throughput testing measures the maximum data throughput that can be achieved.
