Before using the appliance
Remove the accessories from the oven •
and heat it at 200°C for about two
hours to eliminate the smell of protective
grease and insulating materials. It is
advisable to keep the window open
during this operation.
Before use, remove:•
stickers located on the front of the -

cardboard protection and protective -

other parts of the appliance;

Precautions and general advice
This appliance is not intended for use •

advisable to clean the appliance before
reusing it.
Do not drag pots and pans as this could •
scratch the coating.
Residual condensation at the end of •
cooking could eventually damage the
oven and the surrounding furniture. It is
advisable to:
set the lowest temperature; -
cover food; -
remove food from the oven; -
dry wet parts when the oven is cold. -

Keep children away from:•

temperatures.
Always keep a watch when cooking with •
lots of fat and oil. In fact, the oil and fat
canoverheatandcatchre!
Never remove the accessories when •
completely loaded. Take maximum care.

How to operate the oven
Turn the selector knob to the required •
function. The oven light switches on.
Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to •
the required temperature. The orange
thermostat led lights up, switching
off again when the oven reaches the
selected temperature.
Cooking time selector
This selector can be used to set a cooking
time of between 1 and 120 minutes.
To set cooking time, after selecting the
required cooking function, turn the knob
clockwise to the desired cooking time. At
the end of the set cooking time the oven
switches off and the selector remains
positioned at “0”. To use the oven in
manual mode, i.e. without setting a cooking
time, make sure that the programme
selector is turned to the symbol .

IMPORTANT: when the selector is
positioned at “0” the oven will not
switch on.
To switch the oven on, set the selector to the
symbol or set a cooking time.
At the end of cooking time:
Turn the oven control knobs to • “0”.
How to operate the cooktop
Using the gas burners
The following symbols are given near each
knob on the front panel:
Full circle Tap closed
Largeame
Max. opening
Smallame Min opening
The minimum position is when the knob is
turned fully anticlockwise. All the operating
positions must be chosen between the min.
and max. positions, and never between
max. and off.
Automatic electric ignition
To light one of the burners, press the knob
corresponding to the burner and turn
it anticlockwise to Max. Keep the knob
pressed for automatic lighting of the burner.
In case of a power failure or no current, the
burner can also be lit with a match.
Safety valve
To light the burners, carry out the same
operations given above. Once the knobs are
turned to the opening position they must be
kept pressed for about 10 seconds.
Ifforanyreasontheburneramegoes
out, the safety valve automatically cuts in,
shutting off the gas to the relevant burner.

Daily use
Oven functions Description of function
LAMP To switch on the oven light.
TOP + BOTTOM
HEATING
To cook any kind of dish on one shelf only. Use the 2nd
level. Preheat the oven to the required temperature. The
oven is ready for introducing food when the thermostat
light goes off.
MEDIUM GRILL To grill small pieces of meat, under the smaller grill.
It is advisable to place food on the 4th level at max.
temperature. Preheat the oven for 3 - 5 min. The oven
door must remain closed during cooking.
GRILL To grill chops, kebabs and sausages using all the grill;
to gratinate vegetables or toast bread. It is advisable to
place food on the 4th level. When grilling meat, use the
drip-tray to collect the cooking juices. Position it on the 3rd
level, adding about half a litre of water. Preheat the oven
for 3 - 5 min. The oven door must remain closed during
cooking.
TURBO GRILL To roast large pieces of meat (legs, roast beef, chickens).
Position the food on the middle levels. Use a drip-tray to
collect the cooking juices. Position it on the 1st/2nd level,
adding about half a litre of water. The oven does not have
to be preheated. It is advisable to turn the meat over
during cooking, to obtain even browning on both sides.
The oven door must remain closed during cooking.
With this function it is possible to use the rotisserie, if provided.
FORCED AIR To cook different foods requiring the same cooking
temperature on a maximum of two shelves at the same
time(e.g.sh,vegetables,cakes).Thisfunctioncan
be used to cook different foods without odours being
transferred from one food to another. Use the 2nd level
to cook on one shelf only. To cook on two shelves, use the
2ndand4thlevels,preheatingtheovenrst.
BOTTOM HEATING
ELEMENT + FAN
Tonishcookingfoodwithaveryliquidconsistencyand
to obtain crisp, golden bases. Also useful for thickening
sauces.
It is advisable to place food on the 2nd cooking level.
Preheat the oven.
DEFROST To speed up defrosting of food. Place food on the middle
level. It is advisable to leave food in its packaging to
prevent it from drying out on the outside.

Advice and tips regarding use
How to read the cooking table:
The table indicates the best function to use
for a given food, to be cooked on one or
more shelves at the same time. Cooking
times start from the moment food is placed
in the oven, excluding preheating (where
required). Cooking temperatures and times
are only approximate and depend on the
amount of food and type of accessory used.
Use the lowest recommended values initially
and, if cooking results are not those desired,
use higher values. It is advisable to use the
accessories supplied and preferably dark-
coloured metal cake tins and pans. Pots and
accessories in Pyrex or porcelain can also
be used, but cooking times will be slightly
longer.
Cooking different foods at the same time
Using the FORCED AIR function it is possible
to cook different foods requiring the same
cooking temperature at the same time (e.g.
shandvegetables)ondifferentshelves.
Remove the food requiring shorter cooking
times and leave food requiring longer
cooking times in the oven.
Cakes
Bake delicate cakes with the -
conventional function on one level only.
Use dark-coloured metal cake tins
and always position them on the rack
supplied. To cook on more than one
shelf, select the forced air function and
arranged the cake tins in a staggered
way on the racks, to favour air
circulation.
To know if a raising cake is baked, insert -
a wooden toothpick in the top part of
the cake. If the toothpick comes out dry,
the cake is ready.
If using non-stick cake tins do not butter -
the edges, as the cake may not rise
evenly at the sides.
Ifthecakegoes“at”duringbaking,set -
a lower temperature the next time, even
reducing the amount of liquid in the
mixture and mixing more gently.
Forcakeswithjuicyllings(cheesecake -
orfruitpies)usethe“FORCEDAIR”
function. If the base of the cake is soggy,
lower the shelf and sprinkle the bottom
of the cake with breadcrumbs or biscuit
crumbsbeforeaddingthelling.
Meat
Use any kind of pan or Pyrex dish -
suitable for the size of the meat being
cooked. For roasts, it is best to pour a
little stock on the bottom of the pan,
basting the meat during cooking for
addedavour.Payattentiontothe
steam created during this operation.
When the roast is ready, leave it in the
oven for another 10-15 minutes, or wrap
it in aluminium foil.
To grill pieces of meat, choose cuts of the -
same thickness to obtain even cooking.
Very thick pieces of meat require longer
cooking times. To prevent the meat from
burning on the outside, move it away
from the grill by placing the rack at a
lower level. Turn the meat two thirds
of the way through cooking, paying
attention to the steam when opening the
door.
To collect the cooking juices it is -
advisable to place a drip-tray with half
a litre of water directly under the rack on
which the food is placed. Top-up when
necessary.
Pizza
Lightly grease the trays to ensure -
the pizza has a crispy base. Add the
mozzarella two thirds of the way through
baking.

The appliance hob is equipped with •
burners of different diameters. Use pots
and pans with bottom diameter equal to
that of the burners or slightly larger.

Cleaning the burners
To clean the hob burners, lift them upwards
out of their seats (Fig. 1 and 2), then place
them in a solution of hot water and non-
abrasive detergent for about 10 minutes.
After cleaning and washing the burners,
carefully dry them.
Always make sure that the openings are
not blocked. It is advisable to carry out this
operation at least once a week or whenever
necessary.Makesuretoproperlyretthe
burners, turning them slowly so that the four
sectors under the burner cap engage the
injector holder seat (if perfectly centred, the
burner lowers a little and locks in place).

Grid maintenance
Clean the grids with a sponge and •
detergent whenever they are dirty.
The grids will change colour near the •
burners. This is perfectly normal and is
due to the high temperature reached
during cooking.
Oven cleaning
Afternishingcooking,waitforthe•
oven to cool, then clean it to prevent the
accumulation of cooking residuals.
Forstubborndirt,useaspecic•
oven cleaning product following the
instructions given on the package.
Clean the outside of the oven with a •
sponge and tepid water.

Wash the accessories in a dishwasher or •

Removal of oven shelf carriers
Interior: the oven shelf carriers can be •
removed for easier cleaning. To do this,
remove all the shelves and spring off the
side carriers (Fig. 3).

Removing the door
In case of removal of the door, make sure
the oven is off and cool. Then, follow these
instructions. The oven door is heavy.

The appliance must be used with the gas

How to install the feet
The appliance is equipped with 4 feet that
are used for possible height alignment with
thecabinets.Totthem,tilttheappliance
and screw the 4 feet in the special threads
located in the corners (see Fig. 1).

Securing the cooker to the wall
Drill two holes in the wall approximately
700 mm above and 20 mm inner the lower
edge of the sides of the cooker (as shown in
Fig. 1 position F), so that they are concealed
by the cooker itself (see Fig. 2).

Gas connection
For information regarding gas connection
instructions, see the injectors table and the
“standard”relevanttoyourcountry.
The gas supply system must comply with
current local regulations.
The appliance must be connected to the
gas supply or gas bottle by means of a rigid
copper, steel pipe or rubber hose based on
local regulation (see gas connection table).
The maximum length of the hose is 2 m.
The hose must be connected directly to the
outletconnector(Fig.1),afterrstofall
ensuring you remove any extension cable
ttedtoyourappliance.

IMPORTANT: when using a rubber
hose, it must be installed in such a way
as not to be in contact with hot parts on the
rear of the appliance or kitchen. It must pass
through an area free of any hindrances and
in a place where it can be inspected along
its entire length (Fig. 2).

supply, use soapy water to check for gas
leaks.
The rubber hose must be connected as
shown in Fig. 3, 4 and 5, in compliance with
local applicable regulations
