1. Unpack Ritmo and ensure that all
the components are complete and
undamaged.
2. Charge the Controller for 12-14 hours
before initial use (see Ritmo Audio
Controller).
3. Your Prenatal Audio Belt may be worn
directly on your stomach, or over your
clothing. The advanced design ensures
comfort throughout your pregnancy.
4. Set your Ritmo Audio Controller to PRE
mode (see Ritmo Audio Controller).

Important: Unpack Ritmo and ensure that
all the components are complete and

Warning:
1. Do not leave the packaging materials
within reach of children.
2. All maintenance instructions must
be followed to prevent damage, injury,
excessive wear, and tear.
3. Ritmo Prenatal may not be modified in
any way.
4. Do not expose the Controller, the
Speakers, the Charger or Audio-Cable
to any liquids, excessive moisture or
excessive temperatures (lower than
0°C-32°F or greater than 40°C-104°F).
Do not use Ritmo in the rain, near or in a
shower, bathtub or washbasin.
5.
Always remove Controller from the Prenatal
Audio Belt when charging. Keep Ritmo
Prenatal away from the body while charging!
6. The Controller should be charged only
with the supplied Charger. Be sure to
connect the Charger only to a compatible
power source (110VAC-220VAC).
7. Make sure you switch off the
Controller, using the On/Off button,
before cleaning the exterior of the
Controller or if Ritmo Prenatal is not be
used for an extended period of time.
8. The exterior of the Controller may be
cleaned using a soft, water dampened,
lint-free cloth, with no additional
cleansers or agents.
9. Do not allow children to use Ritmo
Prenatal without parental supervision.

10. Do not place any objects on top of
Ritmo Prenatal.
11. Do not use Ritmo Prenatal if it is
damaged in any way.
12. Do not use Ritmo Prenatal in the
presence of inflammable substances
or vapors (i.e. alcohol, gasoline, or
insecticides).
13. Never attempt to repair any part of
Ritmo Prenatal yourself. Your Ritmo
Controller contains a rechargeable
Lithium Polymer battery. This battery is
replaceable only by an authorized Ritmo
Service Provider. More information is
available at www.Nuvo-Group.com.
14. The Lithium Polymer Battery is
fully recyclable and should be disposed
of using an appropriate system (Such
as a special recycling centre or via
your local government waste disposal
centre). Never throw your battery out
with the household waste or attempt to
incinerate. Lithium Polymer Batteries
contain non-biodegradable components,
hazardous chemicals and are prone to
aggressive explosion under intense heat.
Limited warranty
Nuvo Group USA, Inc. warrants this
product to be free from defects in materials
and workmanship for 180 days from
purchase. Any part of this product will
be either replaced or repaired if proven
defective and returned within the warranty
period. Replacement or repair is at the sole
discretion of Nuvo Group USA, Inc.
This warranty does not cover battery
replacement nor does it cover damage
to any part of Ritmo Prenatal due to
improper use or maintenance, accident, or
connection to an inappropriate device.

Attention! Follow the steps listed below
before laundering:
Remember: Only the Prenatal Audio Belt, the
Extender and the Protective Pouch are washable.

Remove all electronic components as follows:
Step 1: Remove your MP3 player.
Step 2: Disconnect all plugs from the
audio controller and remove from the belt.
Step 3:
Unzip the two zipper compartments.
Step 4: Unlock the speakers from the rings
and remove from the belt.
Step 5: Remove audio connector cable.

Check for color fastness by testing on a small
area of the fabric. Wash with similar colors.
3.Place the belt in the washable pouch
when laundering.
Note: To reduce anticipated color fading due to machine wash, we recommend hand washing both the Prenatal Audio Belt and the Extender Belt.

To correctly position the Prenatal Audio
Belt on your abdomen ensure that the
imprinted Ritmo logo is facing outward
(away from your body) and on your right.
The Prenatal Audio Belt may be worn
directly on your abdomen or over your
clothing. Make sure the protective casings
of the Speakers are facing outwards.
Fasten your Belt behind your back
using the fully adjustable hook and
loop fastener. We recommend that
you tighten the Belt as snugly as
comfortable to deliver optimum sound
quality to the womb.

Recharging Socket
The On/Off button is located on the top side.
This intelligent On/Off button also
functions as a lighted indicator:
Green >
indicates the Controller is switched On
Red >
indicates battery needs recharging
Solid Blue >
indicates battery is being charged
(light will turn off when fully charged)
Flashing Blue >
battery needs to be serviced.
Caution!
If during charging, the guide light doesn’t turn
blue or your Controller overheats (hot to touch),
immediately unplug the Charger and contact
technical support at 1-888-NUVO-CARE
for assistance.
The recharging socket is located on the top side.
The Controller is equipped with an advanced
Lithium Polymer Rechargeable Battery.
To charge the battery, connect the supplied Charger.
Important:
Never ever use the Charger while wearing
the Prenatal Audio Belt.
Prior to initial use, switch off the Controller,
and charge for 12-14 hours.
Upon initial use, fully discharge the battery
before recharging.
Following both of these steps will ensure
maximum battery capability.
When fully charged, the battery will provide
approximately 14 hours of usage time in
PRE mode and 3.5 hours in POST mode.

The slider switch is located on the side panel and
provides two modes of volume level control.
1) PRE Mode: The Prenatal Automatic
Gain Control (AGC) is factory-preset and
non-adjustable to protect your baby from
potentially excessive volume levels.
Note: The volume level delivered
simultaneously to your personal
earphones is not controlled by the AGC.
2) POST Mode: The Postnatal setting
disables the Automatic Gain Control (AGC)
and allows you to adjust the volume levels
to the Speaker Sets, as desired, utilizing
the MP3 volume controls.
The earphone socket enables you to
connect your personal earphones to the
Controller. This feature further enhances
the Bonding Experience with your baby.
The volume level to the earphones is
controlled solely by the MP3 player and not
by the Controller (in both mode settings).
The input socket is located on the side panel
and connects the MP3 player to the Controller.
Two identical sockets are located on the
side panel to connect the Speaker Sets to
the Controller.

Inserting the Audio Connector Cable
1. Lay the Prenatal Audio Belt on a at
surface with the zippers facing up and the
Nuvo logo on your left.
2. Unzip the top zipper (A3) and thread
the audio cable (A2) through it, from side
pocket (A1) to side pocket (A4).

3. Select one of the two
identical sets (B5). Thread
the plug from the lower
zipper opening (B6) to the
left pocket (B1).
4. Position each individual
speaker with the perforated
surface facing down. Snap
each speaker into the rubber
catches on the lower ring.

individual speaker into place
with the upper ring. Close
the lower zipper (B6).

set (C7). Thread the plug
from the upper zipper
opening (C3) to the left
pocket (C1).

Connect the audio connector cable (D2) in
the left pocket (D1) to the audio controller (E2).
Important: Make sure that the controller
is set to PRE mode (see PRE/POST
Slider section).
10. Connect the two remaining identical
plugs in the left pocket (D1) to the audio
controller (E3 & E4).
11.
Turn the controller on by pressing the On/
Off button (E1). Insert the Controller into the left
pocket (D1) with the On/Off button facing up.
