1.1 New features/specifications
Overview
• Start-up sequence : Initialisation of the osd is n ow done after the power for the driver
has been activated.
Power box initialisation used a timer interrupt before the interrupts were enabled.
Note tha t these changes will not be visible at startup.
• New SBC type : For this new SBC, new backplane fpga code and new cpu fpga code
has been developed.
Shutdown of the sbc is now done with a power button pulse of 2000 ms.
Note that these changes are also transparent to the user and that the changes are not
visible/noticeable (except for the
performances of te SBC ).
• Standard files : New standard files for VGA, SVGA, XGA and SXGA+ used with the
new SBC.
• Video de-interlacing : Solves the green speckles that may appear when switching
frequently between video sour ce s.
• Version table : Build number added to the version table
• AutoImage : AutoImage has been disabled for the SBC.
• Logo : Additiona l delay of 2 time 20,5 ms have b een added before the logo starts
loading it to ram.
• White uniformity : Internal modification for MGP15.
Before performing the upgrade to V3.00, the iQUpgradeAssist.exe file has
to be executed. This file can be foun d in th e firmware .zip file ava ilable
on the TDE and on the PartnerZone site.
The V3.00 upgrade will not be executed if the iQUpgradeAssist.exe has
not b e en ex ecu ted.
How to run the iQUpgradeAssist.exe file ?
1.Copy th e exe file som e wh ere on your harddisk
2.Start b y doubleclicking the iQUpgradeAssist.exe file
A dialog box is displayed (image 1-1)
3.Fill in the projector address, the communication port used, and the baud rate
4.Click o n Start
A progress bar shows the status. The completion of the d ow nload will be signaled with
“Download terminated”
