Questions and Answers
Q. Can I operate the faucet manually, without using the Electronic Eye?
A. Yes. Press the on/off button and water will start flowing. To turn water
off, press on/off button again. if you forget to turn the water off, the
faucet will automatically turn it off after 60 seconds.
Q. What is the optimal Sensing Distance?
A. About 2” from the Sensor is recommended.
Q. Does the Electronic Eye require special maintenance?
A. Yes. In order for the Sensor to function properly, the Electronic Eye
must be kept clean. Use only mild soaps and water. wipe with a soft
cloth.
Q. How often should I clean the filter?
A. Depending on the quality of the water in your area, every 4-12 weeks.
Q. Why doesn’t the water shut itself off after I have moved my hands
away from the Electronic Eye?
A. The Sensor Range could be too long. User may have to adjust
sensor Range (See page 2 on how to set the Sensor Range).
Q. No water will come out of the faucet and the Red LED Light stays on.
A. Replace the batteries (See page 2 for battery installation).

Operation
1. Place hands under spout. Water will flow for as long as the user’s
hands remain within sensor range.
2. Clean filter every month.
3. Keep Electronic Eye Cover clean.
4. Red flashing in the Electronic Eye indicates low batteries.
5. Solid red light in the Electronic Eye and no water flow
indicates batteries are dead.
6. When used in conjunction with the optional AC adapter, the faucet will
automatically switch to AC Power and conserve its battery power.
NOTE: Faucet will automatically shut off at approximately 45 seconds
if the Electronic Eye detects an object or non movement to
prevent continuous water flow.

Sensor Range Setup
1. Plug in the AC Power Adapter OR install Four (4) AA Alkaline
Batteries (See below for battery installation).
2. Sensor Range can only be set by using the on/off button situated
on the bottom right corner of the control box.
Do not attempt to open Control Box.
3. Push and hold the on/off button for 5-7 seconds (Figure 1).
Water will flow and then it will stop. Release button.
4. Place hand in front of the Electronic Eye and leave there until the
Red LED Light inside the Electronic Eye starts blinking.
5. Slowly, move your hand away from the sensor and stop at the
desired location you wish to have the faucet activate. Hold your
hand position until the LED Light blinks, signaling that the sensor
range is detected
(figure 2).
With your other hand, Press the on/off button again to save the
new settings (Figure 1). The LED Light will stay on momentarily
indicating faucet is set.
Battery Installation
1. Your Sensor Faucet Requires Four (4) AA Alkaline Batteries. If the
AC Adapter is plugged in, unplug it from its power source.
2. Using a Philips Screw Driver, remove the cover’s
three (3) screws and pull cover away from the
Control Box using pliers
(Figure 3).
3. Remove old batteries if applicable.
4.
Install the new AA Alkaline batteries, making
sure the “+” and “-” symbols are facing in the
correct directions. Place the cover back on the
Control Box and tighten screws.
Fresh Alkaline Batteries should last
approximately 400,000 on/off cycles.
