USE
1. Insert the plug into the electricity socket
2. Press the safety switch in while holding the appliance by the handle. Next, press the on/off switch in
with your thumb and slide it forwards.
3. Release the switch to stop.
ROTATING THE HANDLE
1. Remove the plug from the socket in order to change the cutting angle of the blade.
2. Slide the lock button firmly backwards.
3. Turn the motor unit to the desired position. The blade turns and is locked in place.
REMOVING THE BLADES
1. Remove the plug from the socket.
2. Press the blade eject button firmly. Take hold of the blade guards and pull carefully into the blades are
released.
TIPS
1. Guide the knife through the food carefully. You do not need to saw.
2. Cut around and up to the bone. Do not attempt to cut through the bone.
CLEANING
1. Remove the plug from the socket.
2. The blades can be cleaned in hot water with washing-up liquid. Rinse, and dry carefully.
3. The motor unit and the power cable may be wiped with a damp cloth.
4. Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid, and never hold it under running water.
PRINCESS TIPS
1. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. This will avoid the risk of getting an electric
shock.
2. Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Take special care if the appliance is used by, or in
the presence of children.
3. Remove the plug from the electricity socket when the appliance is not in use, before attaching or remo-
ving parts, and before cleaning.
4. Avoid touching the moving parts.
5. If the appliance or the power cable are damaged, we would advise you not to continue using it, and to
take it back to the shop for repair. A damaged cable can only be replaced by the service department.
6. It is dangerous to use accessories other than those that were supplied, or are recommended.
7. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
8. Ensure that the cable, and any extension cable that may be used, is positioned in such a way that nobo-
dy can trip over it and that it does not touch any hot surfaces.
9. The blades are sharp. Be careful with them. Always use them with the point away from you.
10. Only for domestic use.

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE NEUTRAL
BROWN LIVE
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the
colour markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter L or coloured red.
WARNING: ON NO ACCOUNT SHOULD EITHER THE LIVE OR NEUTRAL
WIRES BE CONNECTED TO THE EARTH TERMINAL
