3/4" Wrench

To Set Switch Position:
Manually raise or lower curtains to desired height.
Place template over side even with center of load block
(as shown below at left), then follow the instructions for
installation.
When installation is complete, manually raise and lower
curtain past the switch slowly to be sure that the switch
operates without binding.
Attach switch and bracket using
the two nuts and bolts provided.
Replace existing setscrews
with new longer setscrews.
Place bracket on new setscrews, and
secure with nuts. Be sure the bracket
can slide from side to side. Attach one end of tensioning
spring to bracket as shown,
and the other end around the
grease fitting.
Note: Nuts should not be
completely tightened so
that the bracket may slide
back and forth freely.
Lay template over side of
PowerTrak at desired height.
Mark and Drill holes. Notice!
Switch must be installed on machine
operating the curtain you want to open first.
(Typically the south side.)
Purpose of Equipment:
To create a Cool Side Delay by stopping the north side
machine from operating until the south side machine
hits a rocker switch set at a certain height.

attempting to install the Auxiliary Switch. Electric Shock
may result.

COOL SIDE DELAY SWITCH INSTALLATION (Continued)
For 4, 5,or 6 foot PowerTrak machines only:
Replace the brace across the center front of the
machine. This brace is held in place by four bolts.
Use the original bolts to install the new brace.
Wiring the two PowerTrak machines, to operate with a
cool side delay requires that a wire connects the power
supply of the north side machine with the limit switch
installed on the south machine.
Wiring the machines requires breaking the orange wire
from the north side machine's limit switch harness, and
connecting a wire that runs through the cool delay
switch of the south side machine.
This orange wire on the north side machine is located
at the bottom right of the macine next to the motor
when looking through the open door. The wire
connects to the limit switch on top center of the
assembly. Run your wire from here to the cool delay
switch on the other machine as shown below.
All wiring must be performed in
accordance with all National and Local
Electric Codes. Installation by qualified
electrician recommended.
