Extent of supply
Drive unit with 2.5 m PVC-cable. Dependent on the type of window, different
bracket sets are available. Please order the bracket sets separately!
Instructions for use
Performance features
- applicable for daily ventilation and for SHEV according to
DIN EN 12101-2
- chain drives are equipped with micro-processor controlled motor- and
synchroelectronics BSY + for a precise synchronous run
- drive functions and features were individually programmable
(via software SW-BSY +)
- integrated 3 staged clamping protective system
• passive clamping protection, because of reduced running
speed, while closing
• active clamping protection with emergency shutdown and
reverse function while closing, if drives tensile load is bigger
than 150N in Closing Range II
• connection of an additional closing edge, clamping protection
system on the drive is possible (Option -SKS)
- locking relief after closing
- two drive-chains for optimal power transmission into the sash frame

Guarantee
You will get guarantee for all D+H products from verified handing
over of the system till up to 3 years after date of delivery, if mounting and
starting of the system was carried out by a distributor authorized by D+H.
The D+H guarantee will expire, if D+H components are connected with other
systems, or if D+H products are mixed with parts of other manufacturers.

Important notes
Inspection and maintenance has to be carried out according to D+H
maintenance notes. Repair of the drive unit is to be carried out exclusively by
D+H. D+H warranty and functioning guarantee is only valid with operation
on D+H smoke vent and ventilation control panels according to current
regulations which must be observed. Observe mounting instructions of
bracket set!

Maximum pressure load per chain
Strictly observe maximum pressure load of the chain in order to ensure safe
and reliable performance of the chain drive!
Note: Maximum pressure load of the chain is not automatically
identical with maximum force of pressure of the drive !
Locking force (Soft Close Function)
1. Pull out covering stopper. Stick in screw driver and turn it to the right in
order to increase locking pressure.
2. Put covering stopper in again after adjustment.
3. Repeat on other drive side.
If factory-set locking pressure of ca. 150 N is not sufficient, it can be infinitely
increased up to ca. 250 N.

Observe maximum pressure load of the chain (see diagram below)!
Danger of violent pressure
in handaccessible area.
Do not exchange L+N and connect PE (protective conductor) otherwise
mal-function and destruction of drive possible!
Changing of cable outlet from left to right not possible. Observe safety
instructions. Mounting has to be carried out by electro- specialists only.
Only for inside mounting suitable. Use always rain detectors with danger of
rain (e.g. at domelights or roof windows).
