Description
The ALLNET ALL-PoE-CNT-1 counter can display a four digit value (numbers and characters) via 100mm 7-
segement elements. Values from -999 to 9999 can be displayed. The displayed value can be set manually,
increased or reduced via a connected signal generator or a switch. Instead of a signal generator a light barrier or
relay can also be used to obtain values.
Accessible via network and internet
You can access the web interface with any browser-supported device. In addition the displayed values and the
built in relay can be set and controlled via JSON.
The interfaces
The ALL-PoE-CNT-1 offers the following interfaces:
1x RJ45 Input (data and power)
1x contact input
1x relay output

First use
Use a 8-wire CAT5 (or higher) patch cable for the PoE connection. Connect the ALL-POE-CNT-1 with a PoE
switch or injector to ensure power supply. We recommend the ALLNET ALL048900 PoE Injector.
Network with active DHCP
Connect the ALL-POE-CNT-1 to a switch or injector. The device will start up immediately when supplied with PoE
power. On delivery the IP address will be displayed in 4 steps on the display itself. Afterwards the web interface of
the ALL-POE-CNT-1 can be reached with any internet browser. In a DHCP network-infrastructure the devices
gets a IP address automatically by the DHCP Server. When connected to a PC, the IP address can be adjusted
manually.
Note: Please use a recent browser to ensure the full scope of functions.
Network with no DHCP
Connected to a non DHCP Network, the ALL-PoE-CNT-1 starts with IP address 192.168.0.101, as default. You
can set the IP address to a desired value by connecting the device to a computer and change the settings via the
web interface.
1. Connect the ALL-POE-CNT- to a switch or injector
2. Connect the ALL-POE-CNT-1 with your PC/MAC: The ALL-POE-CNT-1 and the connected components
communicate via the TCP/IP protocol. To get access to the counter the PC/MAC and ALL-POE-CNT-1
must use the same network:
IP-Address: 192.168.0.101
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
No username or password required
3. Please set your PC temporary to a free address in the range from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.254 (Do
NOT use 192.168.0.101 its already used by the counter itself).
4. Type 192.168.0.101 to access the web configuration of ALL-POE-CNT-1.

The ALL-POE-CNT-1 synchronizes its system time via a NTP server. The request is done at every boot process
or automatically every 24 hours via port 123. Please make sure, that the firewall allows traffic via port 123. You
can also use a net based time service. If your router supports NTP, you can add the routers IP at the NTP Server
1 field.
To ensure a correct time management, the ALL-POE-CNT-1 needs access to the internet or to an internal NTP
server!
