Ohlins HO877 Mounting Instruction

Type
Mounting Instruction

Ohlins HO877 is a shock absorber designed for the Honda TRX450. It features adjustable rebound damping, compression damping, and spring preload, allowing you to customize the suspension to your riding style and terrain.

The short spring stroke adjuster allows you to adjust the total spring characteristics by turning the spring platforms on the floating sleeve. The spring platform position decides when the stroke for the short spring is blocked. At this point, the total spring stiffness will increase on compression stroke.

The shock absorber also features a piggyback reservoir, which helps to dissipate heat and improve damping performance. The reservoir is mounted at the top, towards the rear and slightly to the left.
