Baby Lock BLQP-FM, a free-motion quilting foot, enhances visibility and control during quilting with its built-in viewing window. Its spring load prevents fabric from flagging and keeps it flat. Ideal for precise stippling, meandering, and thread painting, it requires reduced foot pressure and disengaged feed dogs for free-motion quilting. For best results with metallic or monofilament threads, use good quality thread, set upper tension 1-2, and employ a metallic needle. Regular oiling is recommended to maintain its functionality.
