• Read the charger instruction manual and observe the
safety guidelines regarding the charger.
• Do not interrupt the charging cycle; wait until the charger
indicates that the battery is fully charged, see the charger
instruction manual. Prevent charging in short periods.
Note: this is NOT applicable for Lithium batteries.
• The battery may be irreversibly damaged if the battery is
fully discharged. Therefore, make sure that the battery is
charged on time:
o With intensive use (long distances, daily use):
Immediately recharge after use. Do not interrupt the
charging cycle.
o With average use (short distances, daily or a few
times a week): Charge when battery indicator shows
50% discharge. Do not interrupt the charging cycle.
o With little use or storage: Charge once a week. Do
not interrupt the charging cycle.
• The lifespan reduces if the battery is exposed to extreme
cold for a longer period of time, see the technical details
in the instruction manual.
• Make sure that all connection points on the battery and
the connection point in the battery housing are free of
dust and other contamination.
• Protect your battery from large sources of
electromagnetic radiation.
