BW-1000 series ultrasonic cleaner
I. overview
The ultrasonic cleaning machine uses the super audio signal higher than
20kHz,which is converted into high-frequency mechanical vibration by transducer,
and then it is introduced into the cleaning liquid. The ultrasonic wave radiates
forward in the cleaning liquid, making the liquid flow and produce tens of
thousands of tiny bubbles. These bubbles grow in the negative pressure area
formed by the longitudinal propagation of the super sound wave, and close rapidly
in the positive pressure area The formation, growth and rapid closure of bubbles
are called cavitation phenomena. In the cavitation phenomenon, the closure of
these bubbles forms an instantaneous high pressure of more than 1000
atmospheric pressure. The continuous instantaneous high pressure is like a series
of small "explosions" that constantly bombard the surface of the object, making the
dirt on the surface of the object and in the gap peel off rapidly, achieving the rapid
cleaning effect.

II. Basic structure,The whole machine consists of three basic parts:
1. Ultrasonic generator (electrical control box)
2. Ultrasonic transducer (its function is to convert ultrasonic electric energy into
mechanical vibration energy)
3. Cleaning tank (all stainless steel cleaning tank)
4. Cable connection line (signal connection between ultrasonic generator and
ultrasonic transducer)

III. scope of use:
1. Remove oil from mechanical steel and iron hardware parts, and use alkaline
and efficient cleaning agent.
2. For the phosphating of mechanical steel and iron hardware parts, the three
in one cleaning agent of oil removal, rust removal and phosphating shall be
used.
3. Use neutral aluminum surface cleaner for pure aluminum and aluminum
alloy parts.
4. Use neutral detergent for copper and other non-ferrous metal parts.
5. For electroplating hardware parts, use metal oil remover and polishing wax
remover.

1. Preparation before startup:
(1) place the machine in a horizontal position and check whether the machine is
installed stably and properly.
(2) check whether the drain valve of the machine is closed.
(3) according to the requirements of the cleaning process, inject the cleaning
solvent with the mixture ratio. The proportion of the general cleaning solution and
water is 5% - 8%, the liquid level is about 80mm away from the cylinder surface,
which is the best; the liquid level must exceed the water level line in the side
vibration ultrasonic.
(4) connect the black high-frequency wire connector on the cleaning tank to the
back output aviation socket of the ultrasonic generator, and tighten the screw
mouth without loosening. If it is a two-color cable, connect the red wire (positive) to
the red wire terminal of the output socket, and connect the green wire or other
color (negative) to another corresponding terminal of the output socket.
(5) after confirming that the power switch of the ultrasonic generator and the
temperature control switch on the left side of the machine are in the "off" position,
connect the power supply. The ultrasonic generator and the tank heating power
supply of this series of bw-1012 and above models are of the split type, which
should be respectively connected to the corresponding air switch. The ultrasonic
generator uses 220V 50Hz AC power supply; the heating power supply uses 380V
50Hz AC power supply. Under bw-1006, use 220V 50Hz AC power supply.
(6) check whether the safe grounding of the shell is reliable.
(7) according to the requirements of using cleaning solvent, adjust the temperature
controller to the required heating temperature, generally 60 - 80 .
2. Start up operation instructions:
(1) after the above preparations are completed, turn on the air switch power supply,
and the heating indicator lights up, indicating that the machine starts to add Heat.
(2) when the temperature of the ultrasonic tank reaches the required heating
temperature, the indicator light goes out, the temperature switch automatically
turns off, and the whole machine is in the automatic constant temperature state.
(3) turn on the ultrasonic switch and the whole machine will work normally.
(4) install the workpiece into the cleaning basket and clean the workpiece ccording
to the cleaning procedure.
(5) after working for a period of time, the temperature drops, and the temperature
system is automatically electrified and heated.
(6) after finishing the work, the machine should stop working, take out the orkpiece
and turn off all the power switches.
3. Precautions for use:
(1) when there is no detergent in the ultrasonic cleaning tank, the ultrasonic shall
not be started, otherwise the transducer may be damaged
And ultrasonic generator.
(2) when there is no cleaning solution in the heating tank or the cleaning solution is
not immersed in the heating pipe, heating is absolutely forbidden, otherwise it will
be damaged Heater (tube).
(3) do not put the object directly into the bottom of the ultrasonic cleaning tank for
cleaning, otherwise the ultrasonic cleaning effect and grinding will be affected.
Damage the bottom of the cylinder.
(4) if the cleaning workpiece falls into the cylinder bottom, it shall be taken out in
time, otherwise it will wear the cylinder bottom.
(5) avoid strong impact on the bottom of the ultrasonic cleaning tank or the
bonding surface of the vibrator to avoid damaging the transducer.
(6) the liquid splashing transducer and ultrasonic generator shall not be allowed to
prevent the transducer and circuit board from moisture and short circuit.
(7) during a certain period of use, pay attention to the cleaning dosage and add
the cleaning solution in time to ensure the normal operation of the machine.
(8) if there is too much sediment in each tank, the ultrasonic output will be blocked
and attenuated. At this time, the liquid shall be discharged and filtered, and after
cleaning the inner tank, the cleaning liquid shall be put again to continue to work.
(9) when the old liquid is replaced, it shall be carried out under the shutdown state
and normal temperature.
(10) combustible solvent shall not be used as cleaning agent.
(11) the machine shall not be used in direct sunlight or in high temperature
nvironment.
(12) the ultrasonic generator shall be well ventilated to avoid working in strong acid,
strong alkali or harsh environment.
Vi. fault, repair and maintenance
1. Troubleshooting:
(1) if there is no power supply, check whether the air switch is damaged and
whether the power line is broken.
(2) in case of heating failure, check whether the heating plate (tube) of the tank is
burnt out and whether the corresponding contactor is damaged.
(3) if the transducer suffers electric leakage or short circuit caused by conductive
dust, or breaks or falls off due to impact, the company shall be informed to send
personnel to repair or send it back to the company for repair as soon as possible.
(4) due to the excessive voltage fluctuation and poor ventilation, if the ultrasonic
vibration is found to be very slight suddenly in the use process, after eliminating
the factors of sediment barrier attenuation at the bottom of the tank, or the input

voltage is too low, it may be that the power devices (field effect tube, power

module) of the ultrasonic generator are damaged, and the use shall be stopped
immediately, and the company shall be notified to send personnel for repair.
(5) in case of short circuit fault of cable, after removing the cause of short circuit
caused by water vapor in ultrasonic generator, it is mostly caused by external
corrosion of high frequency base / wire board base at the back of electric box,
which causes positive and negative pole conduction or external force breakdown
of cable which causes two wire conduction; replace or make insulation isolation
again.
(6) if the above-mentioned problems cannot be solved after treatment, the use
shall be stopped immediately and the company shall be notified to send personnel
for repair.
2. Maintenance:
(1) remove the dirt deposited in the cleaning cylinder and replace the cleaning fluid
in time.
(2) regularly remove the dust in the ultrasonic generator to keep good ventilation
and heat dissipation.
(3) frequently remove the dust adhered on the heater.
3. Ultrasonic generator maintenance:

VII. Transportation and installation
1. Handling method: the machine shall be lifted and lowered slowly and
horizontally. On the flat ground, the installation wheel at the bottom of the machine
can be used for pushing, Do not impact the machine.
2. Installation position: the machine shall be installed in a ventilated and dry place,
and its ambient temperature and humidity shall not be too high
The body shall be placed horizontally, and a space of more than 0.2m shall be
reserved around it for good ventilation and heat dissipation.
3. Power supply: the voltage and maximum allowable current of the power supply
shall refer to the requirements in the technical parameter table.

IV. instructions:
1. Place the machine in a ventilated and dry place and connect the power supply
and output connector. When the power is turned on, the production serial number
of the product will be displayed in the display window (it will enter the normal
display state in about 1 second)
2. Normal operation mode:
Turn on the power, display the window or display "- off". If it is a timing number,
press the "increase timing" or "decrease timing" key to make the display window
display "- off". Then press "start / stop" to enter the normal working mode and
display the current working frequency or "on". The "start / stop" switch directly
controls the operation of the machine. The lower display window shows the
current.
3. Timing operation mode:
Turn on the power, the current display window should show "XXXX". If it shows "-
off" or whether it shows the time you need, when the machine is working in the
suspended state (if not, press the "start / stop" key to make the machine work in
the suspended state "off"), press the "increase timing" or "decrease timing" key to
make the display window show the working time you need, and then Press "start /
stop" again to enter the timing mode, and the display window will display the
corresponding timing value "XXXX", and decrease by seconds. When the clock is
reduced to zero, the machine stops working and the display window shows the
original setting again. Please press "start / stop" key for restart.
4. Automatic frequency tracking mode:
When position 6 of the setting switch at the back of the display panel is on, the
machine is in automatic frequency regulation tracking mode. Under normal
working conditions, the machine will automatically adjust to the appropriate
working frequency according to the load of the mine. If it is necessary to adjust the
machine after the load changes, just press and hold the frequency sweep button
for about 3 seconds during normal ultrasonic operation. When the "F" in the
display window flashes, the machine will enter the automatic adjustment state.
After the adjustment, the best frequency point will be automatically selected and
saved, and return to the normal display state. In the future work, it will always work
at the best frequency. This will bring a lot of convenience to people who are not
familiar with the transfer. This working mode is only applicable to vibration plate
above 26khz
5. Automatic constant current operation mode:
In some cases where the environment has a great influence on the ultrasonic,
such as temperature, water level, detergent and so on, in order to stabilize the
cleaning effect and working current of the equipment, the automatic constant
current working mode can be adopted. (a) adjust the machine according to the
normal adjustment steps, and properly increase the working current of the

machine. (b) put the No. 5 setting switch in the "on" position, and restart the
machine (note that the switch must be turned off in other working modes)
6. Power adjustment:
In the working state, press the "increase power" or "decrease power" key to make
it reach the required state, and the machine will automatically save your power
setting value after about 10 seconds.
7. Sweep mode:
By changing the frequency of a certain section of the power supply, the ultrasonic
vibration simulation scouring effect can be achieved to strengthen the cleaning
effect. But this mode has damage to the parts, please use it as appropriate.
8. Use of remote control cable
There is a remote control interface at the back of the machine, which is mainly
used in the automatic control equipment to control the ultrasonic output flexibly
through the PLC or other equipment in the equipment, so as to avoid the damage
to the equipment caused by frequent switching power supply. When the remote
control port is short circuited, the ultrasound is turned on. When the same
equipment has multiple controlled ultrasonic power supplies, multiple sets of
independent switch contacts must be used.
Wiring installation:
1. "-" stands for negative pole on the signal line, and is connected to terminal 1. "+"
stands for positive pole, and is connected to terminal 2.
2. If there are multiple signal lines, the black sleeve of the signal line is marked
with "1 × 3", "2 × 3", "3 × 3", respectively representing signal line 1, signal line 2,
signal line 3 , and so on, respectively connected to the ultrasonic generator with
the same number mark.
3. Special note: if the "-" pole in the signal line is connected with the cleaning tank,
measure with the ohm gear of the multimeter, and the resistance between the "+"
pole and the cleaning tank shall be 1m Ω infinity. In case of identification loss
or fault judgment, multimeter can be used to make accurate judgment.

4. Under the mark, the black connector is 220V power supply. Please connect the
plug to the 220V power plug board.
9. Selection of working status and display mode:
As shown in the following table, press the "sweep" key before turning on the power,
turn on the power at the same time, and enter the function setting state. Change
the item parameter number of the upper display window through the power plus /
minus key, and change the function content of the lower display window through
the time plus / minus key.

12.Additional instructions, installation of heating power supply for single tank
washer:
1. The power supply of the cleaning electromechanical heating system is industrial
power 220V 50 / 60Hz
2. The site shall be equipped with air switch, zero row and reliable ground wire row
of corresponding power.
3. There is a black corrugated pipe on the back of the cleaning tank machine, and
there are 3 wires in it, including:
3.1 one red line is live line;
3.2 the blue line is the zero line;
3.3 the yellow green double color wire is the ground wire, which is reliably
connected to the ground wire bar.
