FOLDING TIPS
For easy loading:
1. Grab the paper with one hand as shown in Figure 1.
2. Hold the paper at the top so that it is bowed
lengthwise away from the machine as shown in
Figure 2.
3. Slide the paper against the paper guides as you load
it into the machine.
To avoid jams, ensure that the documents are properly
aligned when folding 2-3 sheets at a time.
Keep this instruction booklet for reference purposes.

Before operating the #P6200 Premier Letter Folding Machine, the paper guide must be properly inserted.
1.
With the Letter Folder facing you, place it on a flat surface in the location where you will be
folding.
2.
Then grasp the Paper Guide on either side and position over the entry slot on the top of the
machine.
3.
Keeping the paper guide perpendicular to the machine, lower the paper guide so that it is behind
the plastic strip in front of the entry slot. As the paper guide is lowered, insert the 1/8” plastic
protrusions on the bottom of the paper guide into the two slots of the entry slot.
4.
Push the guide slightly backward until it is secured.
5.
Plug the AC Adapter into an appropriate outlet. Your letter folder is now ready to operate.
6.
Read this manual in its entirety before using the letter folder.
NOTE: A small portion of the AC outlet jack may protrude from the machine.
PARTS IDENTIFICATION & ASSEMBLY
1. After properly installing the paper guide, plug the AC Adapter into an appropriate power
source.
2.
With the paper exit facing you, squarely feed up to 3 sheets of paper with the print facing away
from you into the paper entry slot on top. Use the paper guide to channel the paper into the
machine.
3. For documents to be used with window envelopes, insert paper with print facing you.
4.
The machine will automatically turn on and pull the paper into the machine, trifold it and then
eject the paper from the front of the folding machine.
5. It is important to align the paper before feeding it into the machine. Make sure you squarely
feed the paper into the folder.
6. Papers that are stapled should be fed stapled end first with the print facing away fromyou.
7.
Do not insert papers with tape, paper clips or any other protruding objects into the letter folder.
8.
The machine is equipped with a thermal overload switch which will automatically shut off the
folder to protect the machine from overheating. If the machine shuts off, unplug the letter folder
and do not use it for 10 minutes.
9. After folding is complete, unplug the unit.
Note: Using stapled sets may affect the life of the
machine.
IN THE EVENT OF A JAM
1. If too many sheets of paper are inserted or if the paper is not fed squarely into the machine,
the paper will jam or misfold.
2.
Unplug the folder and lay it on its back so that the bottom of the unit is exposed and facing you.
3. Push the two bottom door release tabs down and pull the hinged bottom door toward you.
4.
Lift up the moveable guide inside the machine by inserting your index fingers into the two rec-
tangular cutouts and pulling up. You must hold the moveable guide up, internal springs will pull
it back in place if you let go.
5. The misfolded or jammed paper should now be exposed.
6.
Remove any paper. Any paper that is not wrinkled or folded can be reinserted into the machine.
Do not insert any torn, wrinkled, or partially folded paper into the folder.
7. Return the moveable guide back into the correct position by letting go of it.
8. Close the bottom door until the door release tabs snap into position.
9. After placing the machine in an upright position, plug the AC Adapter back in and continue
folding.
10. If the paper is not easily removed from the bottom door compartment a standard flat blade
screwdriver can be used to rotate the internal roller to remove the paper. Again, make sure the
unit is unplugged and do the following:
a.
ed in the shaft just inside the small access hole on the right side of the machine.
b. Turn the screwdriver clockwise. When an edge of the paper is
exposed in the bottom compartment hold onto it and continue to
turn screwdriver until the paper is free. If the paper can be
grabbed from the top entry or the front exit, hold that edge.
c. Do not use anything other than a flat blade screwdriver. Do not
force the screwdriver beyond the slotted shaft.
