FOUNDATION VENT

INSTALLATION MANUAL

STEP 1 | Remove the old vent using a hammer. Clear all surrounding mortar if necessary.

STEP 2 | Thread the screws on the vent through unl they barely protrude through the frame.

STEP 3 | Place one side of the vent into the opening, then push the other side into place. The vent anges

should sit rmly against the wall.

STEP 4 | Thread the screws through unl each one touches the side wall. Tighten the screws

approximately 3 addional turns.

This vent ts a standard 8” x 16” opening. 1 sq  of net free venlaon area is required for each 150 sq 

of crawl space without a vapor retarder.
