This manual is also suitable for

1. Unscrew the old float hose from the Polaris and the
pool wall.
2. Remove the Quick Disconnect from the old float
hose by collapsing the hose with your fingers.
Collapse the end of the new hose and slide on
the quick disconnect, making sure that only the
first corrugation is inside the lip of the Quick
Disconnect.

3. Unscrew the Pressure Relief Valve, stick your
finger through the opening and pop the hose back
into shape.
4. With the pool filtration pump off, connect the new
float hose to the pool wall.
NOTE: The connector and the Quick Disconnect
twist independently of the hose. When attaching
them, twist only the connector or the Quick
Disconnect so the hose does not get twisted.
5. Extend the new hose to the farthest point in the
pool.
6. Cut the float hose so it is approximately four feet
short of the farthest point in the pool.

If the float hose does not come within
approximately four feet of the farthest point, add a
float hose extension kit available at a participating
Polaris dealer (part #6-221-0 for Polaris 165/Turbo
Turtle only).
7. Remove the floats from the old hose and attach
them onto the smooth areas of the new hose.
8. To connect the surface module, remove the hose
connector from the old hose and attach it to the
end of the new float hose, following the instructions
in Step 2.
9. Connect the surface module to the hose and turn
on the filtration pump. Extend the float hose back
to the farthest point in the pool. The float hose is
cut correctly if the surface module is approximately
one foot from the pool wall when the pool pump is
running.
