Symantec Secure One Innovators Program Guide

The Secure One Innovators ecosystem comprises a complete application program interface (API)

framework where partners can build applications or modules of product suites not from Symantec on

an open platform. This “unified security platform” allows access to the Symantec data lake and cloud

management platform, as well as a wealth of partner integrations. The objective is for innovator team

developments to be available quickly—a direct response to changes in the threat landscape.

By fostering open innovation that will lead to better solutions, the Secure One Innovator program also

provides benefits, such as:

• Consistent, structured approach

Symantec works with security information and event management (SIEM) vendors on

a standardized set of APIs to allow the detail-rich events generated by the Symantec

Advanced Threat Protection tool to be accessible by SIEMs.

• Widespread integration

Symantec helps define ways in which security products can interact with nonsecurity

systems, such as ticketing and information technology service management (ITSM),

to control workflows and security task automation.

• Accelerated time to market

Partners can leverage major security control points without having to build them or

find hacks to perform integrations using unsupported techniques. This means solutions

get to customers much faster.

All innovator partners have access to a set of fundamental program services, including Symantec software

licenses, installation and configuration support, free membership to TSANet, and use of the Secure One

Innovator logo to promote the relationship. Additional benefits are available to innovators with a deeper

level of engagement, such as:
