ACTION CAMERA

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read the instructions carefully before using this
camera for proper and safe operation.
Please check the video camera operates normally
before use.
Do not expose the video camera to direct sunlight, or point
its lens to sunlight - the image sensor may get damaged.
Take good care of the video camera and prevent water or
sand particles from entering the housing when it is used
on the beach or in water. Water, sand particles, dust or
composites containing salt may damage.
Keep the video camera free of dust and chemical materials.
Place it in a cool, dry and well ventilated environment. Do
not place the video camera in a high temperature, moist or
dusty place.
If dust or dirt is accumulated on the video camera or on its
lens - use a so, clean and dry cloth to wipe away gently.
Do not use a cloth to wipe sand particles. Blow them away
gently then wipe the camera gently with a cloth suitable for
optical devices.
Do not use solvents to clean the video camera.
Do not touch the lens surface with your fingers.
This camera supports a MicroSD Memory Card (up to 32GB).
Please insert the MicroSD Memory card before use. SD
Memory cards are not included and need to be purchased
separately.
Please back up data stored on the memory card.
Memory cards are manufactured from precise electronic
components. Data may be lost or damaged under the
following circumstances:
The memory card is bent, dropped or damaged.
Place it under high temperature or moist environment or
expose to sunshine directly.
Electrostatic or electromagnetic field exists around the
memory card.
This memory card is taken out or power supply is
interrupted when this video camera or computer is
connected to the memory card (i.e. during reading,
writing and formaing).
Touching the metal contact surface of the memory card
with your fingers or metallic materials.
We recommend cards for maximum
performance.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
To be able to download videos and photos to your computer,
you will need the following minimum configuration including
and internet connection, and Adobe® Flash® Player:

USAGE
Charging the built-in lithium baery
Make sure the built-in lithium
baery has been fully
charged before using your
camera. To charge the
baery:
Power OFF the camera.
Connect your camera from the USB
Interface 3 using the mini USB cable
provided to a PC.
The ‘Charge’ LED light 10 lights up red
indicating that your camera is in ‘Charge’
mode. The LED switches o when your
camera is fully charged.

MicroSD Memory Card
Make sure a MicroSD Memory card has been properly inserted
into your camera (MicroSD Memory card not included).
To properly insert the MicroSD Card:
Power OFF the camera.
Insert the MicroSD Card into the
MicroSD Card slot 1 in the direction
as shown on the camera (see SD icon
by the MicroSD card slot).
Gently press the MicroSD Card until you
hear a slight clicking sound. This indicates
the memory card has been inserted correctly.
To remove the card, gently press on the edge of the card to
release it and pull the card out.
If the card is inserted or removed while the camera’s power
is on, it may damage the card and/or any stored data.
Always confirm that the power is o before inserting the
card into the camera.
Indicator Lights
When the camera is busy (such as recording, taking photos, or
automatic o-screen), the ‘Busy’ light 9 will be on.
A static ‘Charge’ light 10 indicates the camera is charging.

Power ON/Power OFF
Power ON:
Press the POWER
buon 4 for 3 seconds -
the display screen
appears. The camera
is now ON.
Power OFF:
Press the POWER
buon once - the display
screen disappears.
The camera is now OFF.
Auto Power OFF:
When the camera is le idle for more than 5 minutes, the
camera will power OFF automatically to save energy.
Once the camera is automatically powered o, you can press
the POWER buon once to power on the camera.
NOTE: Aer 2 minutes of inactivity, the camera LCD screen
turns black to save energy. The red ‘Busy’ LED light 9 is on to
indicate that the camera is in standby mode. Simply press any
buon or touch the LCD screen to reactivate the camera.
Auto Power OFF due to low baery:
When the baery power is low, the LCD display screen will
display the ‘low power’ icon. When the indicator light turns red
and is flickering, the camera will power OFF automatically.

USING THE FUNCTION MODES
Three modes are available:
Picture
Still images can be taken
Video
Video can be recorded
Vehicle-Mounted
Continuous video can be recorded
(one section every 5 minutes)
NOTE: Use the Mode Switch aer startup.
Picture Mode:
Switch the mode to ‘Picture’, press the Shuer Buon 5
or click the LCD centre once to take a photo.
Video Recording mode
Switch the mode to ‘Video’, press the shuer buon once or
click the LCD centre once to begin recording. Press the shuer
buon once again to stop recording. The camera will also stop
recording automatically when the memory card is full or the
baery is low.
Vehicle-Mounted mode:
Switch the mode to ‘Vehicle-Mounted’, press the shuer
buon or click the LCD centre once to begin recording.
A segment of recording will be saved every 5 minutes and
then the next segment of video will start to record. When the
storage card is full, the earliest segment of video will be deleted
to release the corresponding space for continuous recording.
Using the Playback Mode
Aer starting up and entering the preview screen, click the
playback icon at the lower right corner of the LCD screen
to switch to the playback mode:
To play a movie clip:
Click to pause playing, click to play forward,
and click to play backward.
To delete a movie clip:
Click to delete the current file and the YES to confirm, or
click NO to cancel the request of deletion.
Connecting the camera to a computer
Use the supplied USB cable to connect
your camera to a computer.
For Windows OS users:
1. Power the camcorder ON.
2. The first time you connect the
device to the computer you may
have to wait a few seconds until
the computer recognises the device. The ‘MSDC’ connection
icon displays on the LCD screen.
3. A window appears on your computer with a list of options,
select ‘Open folder to view files’ and click ‘OK’.
4. Open the DCIM folder and the folder inside to view the
media files.
5. Select the media and copy the files from this folder onto
your computer. Optionally, select the files and choose ‘Copy’
from the Edit menu. Then select a folder and choose ‘Paste’
from the Edit menu.
6. Do not disconnect the cable during transfer. Doing so will
cancel the transfer of files.
For Macintosh OS users:
1. Power the camcorder ON.
2. The first time you connect the device to the computer
you may have to wait a few seconds until the computer
recognises the device. The ‘MSDC’ connection icon displays
on the LCD screen. The camera’s device icon appears on the
desktop.
3. Click on the device icon and open the DCIM folder and the
folder inside to view the media files.
4. Select the files and drag them onto your computer.
Optionally, select the files and choose ‘Copy’ from the
Finder’s Edit menu. Then select a folder and choose ‘Paste’
from the Edit menu.
5. Do not disconnect the cable during transfer. Doing so will
cancel the transfer of files.
USING THE INCLUDED ACCESSORIES
Waterproof Case
CAMERA IS SUBMERSIBLE
UP TO 2M IF CAMERA IS
CORRECTLY SEALED IN
WATERPROOF CASE
1. Insert a finger at
the half circle of the
clamp by prying the
clamp up away from
the case.
2. Before sealing the
case, inspect the
water sealing gasket to be sure it’s in good condition. You
can test the gasket by closing the case without inserting
the camera.
3. Submerse the case completely in a bowl of water for about a
minute. Remove the case from the water, dry o its exterior
with a towel and then open the case. If the entire interior is
dry, the case and gasket are safe for use under water.
4. There are just two buons required for recording video and
images: the Shuer, and the Power Buon.
5. Remember to put the Mode Switch in your desired recording
position before inserting the camera in the waterproof case.
There is no external buon for the Mode Switch.
CLAMP SHUTTER POWER
Handlebar Mount
1. The camera does not have a
standard tripod mount. For all the
accessories with a 1/4-20 screw,
the camera must be enclosed in
with the waterproof case or in the
included mounting adapter.
2. Turn the waterproof case (or
mounting adapter) clockwise
onto the 1/4-20 screw of the
handlebar clamp until secure.
3. Turn the Locking Wheel so it
applies pressure to the case to keep the connection secure.
4. Loosen the Bar Clamp Bolt until the screw can be pushed
90° upward.
5. The boom half of the Bar Clamp can be opened to allow
you to wrap the Handlebar Clamp around the actual
handlebar of your bicycle.
6. Aer positioning the Handlebar Clamp where you want it,
close up the boom half of the clamp and tighten the Bar
Clamp Bolt.
7. Loosen the Tilt Knob, to adjust for the proper aiming angle;
then tighten the knob.
Panning adjustments can be made by loosening the Locking
Wheel, adjust the pan angle; then tighten the wheel.

Helmet Mount
1. Insert the free end of the
Helmet Strap through one
of the slots in the base of
the Helmet Mount.
2. Thread the same end
in to the helmet’s vent
and then back up to the
Helmet Mount through
another vent. Then insert
the strap through the
other side of the Helmet
Mount. Then insert the strap back through the helmet vent.
3. You should have now both ends of the strap inside the
helmet. Take both ends of the strap and pull to tighten and
then aach together with the Velcro.
4. Turn the Waterproof Case (or Mounting Adapter) onto the 1/4-
20 screw of the Helmet Mount until secured.
5. Turn the Locking Wheel so it applies pressure to the case to
keep the connection secure.
6. Loosen the Tilt Knob, to adjust for the proper aiming angle;
then tighten the knob.
Please note this Helmet Mount will only work with vented
helmets.
