According to the usage scenario and working concept, this system only supports instant communication
through WiFi hotspot function (each time you disconnect you have to do the following to reconnect to the
WiFi hotspot and will not connect automatically like a mobile phone will remember how home WiFi works by
default). And in line with the principle of power saving concept, this system does not support uninterrupted
working all the time.
Working definition.
The phone is ultimately connected to the camera via a WiFi signal, not Bluetooth, and only wakes up the WiFi
function with the help of Bluetooth. And it supports browsing and downloading, as well as deletion on the
phone through the APP.
The camera WiFi is a hotspot and currently only supports connection to matching software for peer-to-peer
connection with the phone, no intermediate bridging is supported and no access to home WiFi is possible.
There are two ways to turn on the camera's WiFi hotspot: ①, manually turn on the WiFi hotspot function, i.e.,
without waking up via the Bluetooth function, manually press the "up" multi-function button to turn on the
WiFi hotspot function, this method can only be used when the camera is in the "setup This can only be done
when the camera is in the "setup" state. ②, without manually turning on the WiFi hotspot (i.e., without
manually pressing the camera's "up" multi-function button), first by connecting to the camera's Bluetooth
function and then waking up the camera's WiFi function (Bluetooth consumes much less power than WiFi, so
the Bluetooth function is always on by default, while the WiFi function is not always on) This is especially true
when the camera is "on". If the camera is "on", you can only use this method to turn on a WiFi hotspot.
Working conditions and procedure.
Both the phone and the camera need to be fully charged and the Android phone needs to be above 5.0. The
software does not support running on tablets.
In rare cases, the software package may change its name, or the package may be temporarily removed from
the market, making it impossible to find the package by searching for the name or scanning the code. In this
case an alternate QR code can be provided to the user to support the download and installation, or the
software installation package can be sent directly.
After the WiFi hotspot is turned on, users can find the camera's WiFi hotspot name in the list of WiFi hotspots,
select the corresponding name, and enter the correct password to connect. The default duration of the WiFi
hotspot is 1 minute before it is connected to the phone, and it will be turned off automatically after the time
limit. If you want to continue connecting to the WiFi function, you need to turn on the hotspot function again.
Some phones need to turn on the location service function to use the APP/apk normally, and some phones
may return to the APP after the first connection to indicate no network connection, so you need to turn off
the 4G function, restart the software and reconnect to WiFi to use the APP/apk normally, otherwise the WiFi
connection may be interrupted, and browsing and downloading may not be possible, or the page may even
get stuck. Some older phones may not support the installation of this application.
Bluetooth and WiFi are short-range wireless transmission protocols. A suitable WiFi working distance is within
10 metres and should be in an open area without obstacles and shields, otherwise it will reduce the
communication distance and communication speed.
