The On/Off button with
AUTO OFF function
The AUTO OFF function automatically
deactivates the appliance to stop energy
consumption when:
Before you press Start/Pause button,
if you do not use the appliance for about
ve minutes. All settings are cancelled.
Press On/Off button to activate it again.
After 5 minutes from the end of the
washing programme. Once activated the
appliance again, the display shows the
end of the cycle.

Indicator bars:
The empty indicator bars come on when the related
functions are available with the set programme. In setting
mode they fi ll accordingly to the function availability.
F. TIME SAVE
The symbol comes on when you set one of these functions:
- Shortened duration.
- Extra quick.
G. The EXTRA RINSE symbol comes on
when this function is activated.
H. The PREWASH/STAIN symbols. The indicator
bar fi lls accordingly to the set function.
The simple and logic display gives immediately all the information about the washing programme.
The OPTISENSE wash
The appliance adjusts automatically the cycle time to the
laundry load to have PERFECT washing results in the minimum
necessary time. After about 15 minutes from the start of
the programme, the display shows the new time value.
START THE APPLIANCE
Before First Use
1. Activate the drain system:
put 2 litre of water in the main wash compartment of the
detergent dispenser.
2. Set and start a programme for cotton at the highest
temperature without laundry to remove all possible dirt from
the drum and the tub. Put a small quantity of detergent in the
main wash compartment of the detergent dispenser.
Daily Use
1. Open the water tap.
2. Connect the mains plug to the mains socket.
3. Press On/Off button to activate the appliance.
4. Put the laundry in the drum, one item at a time. Make sure that
there is no laundry trapped between the seal and the door.
5. Close the door.
6. Put the detergent and additives in the correct compartment of
the dispenser.
7. Turn the programme knob to set a programme.
The programme indicator goes on.
8. The display shows the default temperature, maximum spin
speed and the empty indicator bar of the available functions.
To change the default values or to set functions press the
corresponding buttons.
9. If necessary, set the delay start function.
10. Press Start/Pause button to start the washing programme.
Press this button also to interrupt it.
After approximately 15 minutes from the start of the
programme, the display shows the new time value.
11. At the end of the programme the display shows a zero (
),
the symbol of the last washing phase is on. The indicator of the
Start/Pause button and the door lock symbol go off.
12. If you set the Rinse Hold function refer to “At the end of the
programme” chapter in the user manual.
Programme Temperature Type of load Functions
Cottons 95° - Cold White and coloured cotton items.
For each programmes the display shows all the available functions. In case
of incorrect selection, the display tells that the selection is not possible.
Extra Silent 95° - Cold White and coloured cotton items.
Synthetics 60° - Cold Synthetic or mixed fabric items.
Easy Iron 60° - Cold Synthetic items.
Delicates 40° - Cold Delicate fabrics as acrylics, viscose, polyester items.
Wool/Silk 40° - Cold Machine washable wool and delicate fabrics with “hand washing” care symbol.
Duvet 60° - 30° One synthetic blanket, duvet, bedspread and so on.
Anti-Allergy 60° White cotton items
Spin/Drain /
The maximum load of the laundry is related to the type of laundry.
The spin phase assumes the cotton settings.
Rinse /
All fabrics except for woollens and very delicate items.
The spin assumes the cotton settings.
Jeans 60° - Cold Jeans and dark clothes.
20 min. - 3 kg 40° - 30° Quick wash of sport items or cotton and synthetic items.
Super Eco Cold Mixed fabrics (cotton and synthetic items).
Cottons Eco 60° - 40° White and fast coloured cotton items with normal soil.
Refresh / Cotton and synthetic items. Steam programme to freshen up the laundry.
Anticrease / Cotton and synthetic items. Steam programme to prevent fabric creasing.
