Testing Software Installation
1. Download the Microsoft ActiveSync file to your PC.
2. Run the “GPSViewer.exe” from the software CD, and HOLUX
GPSViewer will be installed on your PC.
3. Activate the Microsoft ActiveSync and turn on your PDA.
4. Microsoft ActiveSync will detect your PDA and install the
GPSViewer on your PDA.
Note: Uses GPSViewer only on Microsoft Pocket PC or
compatible operating systems.
GPSViewer
1. Turn on your PDA and activate the GPSViewer (“Start”
“Program”
”GPSViwer”).
2. Set the Baud Rate to 4800, and select “Scan” for automatic
scanning.
3. When correct COM port is found, select “GPS Status” to show
satellites distribution.
Warnings
Do not place the GR-271 under strong sunlight for long periods.
Do not place the GR-271 in a high-temperature environment.
Do not place the GR-271 near heat radiating devices such as a
stove or radiator.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in malfunction or breakdown
of the device.
