Little Love

Puppy Pal!

Little Love will take special care of her puppy friend as they interact and

sing and learn together. Includes different modes of play, encouraging

nurturing role-play and a understanding of pet care concepts. Also

includes over 100 adorable baby phrases, real life sound effects, dog

sound effects, sing-along songs and melodies.

WARNING: All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets,

packaging locks, removable tags, cable ties and

packaging screws are not part of this toy, and

should be discarded for your child’s safety.

NOTE: Please keep this guide as it contains important information.

Unlock the packaging locks:

GETTING STARTED

The doll and the dog are in try-me mode in the packaging. After

unpacking the box, turn the units “OFF” and “ON” again using

the switch located on the battery compartment of the doll and the

dog respectively to proceed with normal play.

Grow with me Puppy

The more Little Love interacts with her puppy, the more the puppy can

do. When you begin play the puppy is a brand new pet, she can only

respond to Little Love with puppy sounds and react with simple fun

tricks. After playing with Little Love for a longer period of time, they will

become best friends, the puppy will talk and react to more instructions.

Rotate the packaging lock 90 degrees

anticlockwise.

Pull out the packaging locks.

NOTE: If you want to experience the training process all over again,

removing the batteries, waiting for over 5 minutes and installing new

batteries will reset the doggie back to a new puppy.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

For Little Love

1. Open the fabric on the back of Little Love

to locate the battery compartment.

2. Make sure the Little Love is turned OFF.

3. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and

open the battery cover.

4. Install 2 new AA size (LR6/AM-3) batteries

following the diagram inside the battery

box. (The use of new alkaline batteries is

recommended for maximum performance).

5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the

screw to secure.

For the Puppy

1. Open the fabric on the bottom of the

Puppy to locate the battery compartment.

2. Make sure the Puppy is turned OFF.

3. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and

open the battery cover.

4. Install 3 new AA size (LR6/AM-3) batteries

following the diagram inside the battery

box. (The use of new alkaline batteries is

recommended for maximum performance).

5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.

The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and

batteries, or on their respective packaging, indicates they

must not be disposed of in domestic waste as they contain

substances that can be damaging to the environment and

human health.

The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where marked, indicate

that the battery contains more than the specied value of

mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out in Battery

Directive (2006/66/EC).

The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the

market after 13th August, 2005.

PRODUCT FEATURES

LITTLE LOVE

1. OFF/VOLUME SWITCH /

To turn the unit ON or adjust the volume,

slide the switch to LOW or HIGH. To turn

the unit OFF, slide the switch to OFF.

2. ARM SENSORS

RaiseLittleLove’sleft,rightorbotharms

up (ARM SENSORS) and she will play

fun tricks with her doggie. Also, you can

hear cute phrases from her when you

raise her arms up.

3. LIGHT UP BOW BUTTON

Press the LIGHT UP BOW BUTTON and

Little Love will say cute responses according

to the different games. This button will light

up when responding to voice, songs and

melodies. Once Little Love and her puppy

are ready for interactive play, both their

bows will light up when responding.

4. MOUTH SENSOR & SIPPY CUP

Insert the SIPPY CUP into Little Love’s

mouth to feed her.

5. HAIR BRUSH

Little Love loves having her hair brushed.

Tidy her hair with the HAIR BRUSH.

PUPPY

1. OFF/VOLUME SWITCH /

To turn the unit ON or adjust the volume,

slide the switch to LOW or HIGH. To turn

the unit OFF, slide the switch to OFF.

2. HEAD BUTTON

Press the HEAD BUTTON to hear fun sounds

and emotions from the puppy.

3. BACK BUTTON

Press the BACK BUTTON to see doggie’s

cute dance and to hear fun sing-along songs.

4. MOUTH SENSOR & DOG BISCUIT

Insert the DOG BISCUIT into doggie’s

mouth to feed her.

5. BOW

Thedoggie’sbow will light up to respond to

voice, songs and melodies. Once the dog

and the doll are ready for interactive play,

boththeirbowswillash.

6. AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF

To preserve battery life, Little Love

Puppy Pal will shut off

automatically after several minutes without input. The doll can be

turned on again by pressing the LIGHT UP BOW BUTTON. The

dog can be turned on again by pressing the HEAD BUTTON or

BACK BUTTON.

NOTE: If the unit repeatedly powers down or gives abnormal

responses when the unit is switched on, please insert new batteries

and try switching it on again.

STEPS FOR INTERACTIVE PLAY

Step 1.

Please make sure the distance between

the doll and the dog is within 3 metres.

Step 2.

Turn on both units so they are ready for

interactive play (doll and dog will both light

up when they are ready).

Step 3.

Press the bow button on the doll or the head or back button on

the dog to interactive play.

NOTE:

After AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF on both units, press the bow button

on the doll AND press any button on the dog to start interactive play.

If one of the units does not respond to the other unit during interactive

play, please go through “STEPS FOR INTERACTIVE PLAY” again to

reset the unit.

ACTIVITIES

A. Interactive play between Doll & Dog

1. Fun trick training

The doll loves to play fun tricks with her

doggie. Raise one or both of Little Love’s

arms so that they can have fun.

2. Singing together

Music time! Once the LIGHT UP BOW

BUTTON is pressed, doggie will bark as

the doll sings when the dog is a new puppy.

As they become good friends, the doll and

the dog will sing songs in turn. Puppy loves

to dance and sing! Press the BACK

BUTTON and doggie will sing with Little

Loveinturnwiththedog’sbarks.Aspuppy

grows up and becomes best friends with

the doll, they will sing along together.

3. Count with me

Counting is fun! Press the LIGHT UP

BOW BUTTON and the doll and the dog

will play counting games together.

4. Understanding your

puppy’s feelings

LittleLoveunderstandsherpuppy’sfeelings

through different kinds of bark. Press the

HEAD BUTTONtondoutmore.

5. Talk to each other

Little Love and her dog enjoy talking to

each other, the dog will bark and respond

to the doll when she is a new puppy. When

they have played together for a longer

period of time, the doggie will respond to

her with words. Press the LIGHT UP

BOW BUTTON or HEAD BUTTON

to hear their cute conversation.

B. Playing with your doll

1. Pet care tips:

Little Love will share caring tips about how

to care for your puppy when you press the

LIGHT UP BOW BUTTON.

2. Care for your doll:

When your doll is thirsty, feed her with the

sippy cup.

C. Playing with your doggie

1. Time to sing and dance

Your dog will sing and dance to up-

beat music when the Back Button is

pressed.

2. Be friends with your dog:

Press the Head Button to see if you

can understand your doggie’s feelings so

you can be her friend.

3. Care for your doggie

Feed your doggie a dog biscuit to hear

cute sounds.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.

2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct

heat source.

3. Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended

period of time.

4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit

to moisture or water.

5. The Little Love

Puppy Pal is surface washable only.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If for some reason the program/activity stops working or malfunctions,

pleasefollowthesesteps:

1. Please turn the unit OFF.

2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.

3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.

4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.

5. If the product still does not work, replace with a new set of batteries.
